L.D.A city Fraud victim

AoA my father booked 10 marla plot in lda city phase 2 He paid all the amount and hold last 2 installments which is PKR 150,000 X 2 , we have the intimation form in which it is mentioned that if you failed to pay 50% amount in 2 years then LDA have a right to cancel your file and deduct 15% of total amount but my father paid 86% amount and still they cancel our file without given any notice i call their office they said that we have a blue color form which is signed by your father and it is mentioned on it that if you failed to pay "total amount" in 2 years then we can cancel your file (they did not gave us copy of that blue form) my question is that can we take legal action against them or not because the intimation form that we have clearly mention that LDA can cancel your file if you "failed to pay 50% amount" in 2 years.

Lodge a case at District Officer Cooperative located at Larek Stop near Yateem Khana. They are not the quickest but they'll finalize your case in not more than 6 months. And that is the correct place to consult.

Sad to hear you had a bad experience, but the main goal of a developer is to get as many cancellations as possible and sell the plots at higher prices after the two years, and they can do it legally since you did not pay the last two installments you were infact in violation of the contract. You can go and beg but it doesnot change anything when it comes to legal proceedings you will lose the case that is for sure.

yeah my father also said that we can not do anything legally the other person on call might be sales manager told me that we will charge Rs.313,500 and give you remaining amount i was so angry at that time and told him " harami insan men tujhe nhe choron ga" i think he guess from my accent that i,m from karachi he told me yeh lahore hai yahan kuch nhe ho sakta aur phir men ney socha kash yeh karachi men hota to itna kutwata key is ko ilaj hi 300K sey zyada ka par jata

haha good one, lesson learned i guess! I am also looking to buy a property for about a year and the horror stories have driven me away from investing in this whole thing. I will much prefer investing in sustainable businesses or stocks instead.

never ever invest in this types of new housing scheme its better to invest in mutual fund if you do not have much knowledge about stocks trading

yep, that's what i basically learned its an epidemic a capitalist minefield where each and every move is critically judged and you are doomed to make that one dreaded mistake and they have leverage. With that said, i think the title of this thread is misleading. If you did make a mistake, own it and move on. L.D.A city did nothing out of the ordinary or illegal.

Brother my father booked the plot and signed that blue form in their office but he can,t understand english properly so he signed it

Give application and physically visit LDA office . Also have some story that why you were late and then try to pursuance them. Also there are touts who might be able to help you

Alhamdulillah yes, I Paid all the installments before due date to avoid any issues. got exemption letter in last year October after paying Rs. 5000 (demand order) and signed few documents and thumb impressions taken by them. even i can see my name on LDA official website under LDA city link when i enter the file & CNIC number.

I also bought fully paid 10 marla file but that lda city file search link on lda website is not working in my case, did u check recently???
