i have been visiting lady roberts since my childhood and i last visited lady roberts home in feb '12. During all this time, rooms have been improving gradually although the rooms on the first floor and the second floor are still the same(wooden stairs, wooden floor etc). As of today rooms are completely renovated with heaters, tv, double beds, marble flooring, bathrooms are tiled and warm water is provided round the clock(although you don't need that anymore in murree :)). Main lobby is completely renovated and it looks like a very modern place now. Dining room right next to the main lobby is no more there.
Room rent for serving, retired and civilians is Rs. 900, Rs. 1100 and Rs. 1600 respectively, you need to get the booking via some direct army source. For army rates to be applied, you need to be accompanied by the officer himself otherwise the max rate i.e; civilian rates will be applied by default.
P.s. There is an extension going on these days in lady roberts, some huts are being constructed just next to the main building.
I hope the information proves to be useful.
Cheerz...............
