I an using it as a secondary phone i doubt i wanna upgrade to s4 i like my htc one way more ^_^

its because of UI touchwiz
install a launcher (i suggest nova launcher)
intall clean master
and tell us what happens
may be 4.3 is causes the issue

its the piece of **** touchwiz...
i m so glad i chose HTC ONE over s4.. my cousins S4 is very laggy too.
i have tab 2 , stock rom is full of lag , then i put cyanogenmod and everything is fine..

so if u want lag free experience you will have to go custom rom route.

S 3 is usually lagy and i was shocked to see it uses more than 90% of ram always.
Just root it and install a custom rom you'll see the difference.
