Hmm SPL was once my thang when i had my newly restored Datsun which i would only take out on the weekend, drive on the main blvd, get a coupe of thumbs up from people passing by in their cars and then i would even crank up the volume on signals(yes i admit that, i have also been through that signal volume cranking phase) but my enclosure was sealed and only 150wrms were being fed to the sub, those were my SPL days, i know they werent true to the core, but yeah i was happy 
Then came a day when i noticed something weird about my Abbu's Crown's sound system, i remember it was joe satriani who i played through it and i could hear so many different sounds in a sweet manner, and i was like WTF, i need such chimes in my car too! Bring It On, this was in 2009 late, got a chinese amp, which was sold to me for 10k, a 4 channel Caliber CB-43, two of its channels were messed up, the shopkepper told me that my speaker was messed up and was trying to sell me 8inch A series, back then i had got my first ever good set of speakers Pioneer TS-E2090, 8 inch coaxials, they were made in japan, and i had got them from an uncle of mine who went to england and brought em, their build quality was not even comparable to what they were selling here, infact Focal Acces were'nt even nicely enough made. Anyway returned that muddy amp back and had to wait two weeks to get a hold of my first branded amplifier, Kenwood M-845, then ordered Fusion encounter components from karachi for 9k since they were'nt available here in Lahore, and then i becamse friends with Maddy Bhai, Dr sab and Nauman Bhai, and then it was GAME ON!
