I would never recommend being with family you should stay any of the guest house in Lahore.

Very bad, few times I stayed in Chancery Guest house liberty Lahore, it is good for families and neat n clean .

I have also stayed in chancery executive Islamabad with family and great great experience.... it changed my perception regarding guest houses but again every guest house is not the same... it is better to do some research in your network before opting out for any.... otherwise do not book more than 1 night in unfamiliar guest house....

Sir hv u ever traveled to Kashmir, there u have to stay in small cottages,people also give their room on rent, secondly people do use to stay in guest houses, it was my first experience,I also asked seniors here on pakwheels but no one replied,then only thing which I could do to check their guest house reviews which I did, and u check by ur self the reviews, u will also be convinced, they also hv javago recommendations, so pls tell me what else could I check

There can be reasons why no one could guide you for guest houses in lahore... firstly majority people have someone they know who lives in lahore... relatives or close friend.. so all the outsiders stay at their homes whenever they are in lahore.... and they do not know much about lahore guest houses
secondly some members might have answered these questions so many times in the forum that at a certain point it gets tiring to say the same things over and over again!

All i can say for you my friend you made a decision on your own.. which was a great step.. call it bad luck or bad timing.. just do not let this effect your future plans to visit lahore or anyother place in pakistan! nothing is 100% perfect in pakistan
you have gained experience from this.. now you will be able to tell much better way which is a good place to stay and which is not!

i had almost same experience several years back at local hotel in lahore and i just spend 1 night there and changed the hotel .

@gfkhangfkhan even though it was a bad experience but have a look at the positive side of it. Now that you have experienced, you will be better able to decide/judge about the guest house/hotel you are going to stay in future.

Whenever i visit any guestroom even at foriegn, i used to inspect the room first then check in for one night only. And if found any issue call the owner there an then. U shd hve left it very soon as lahore has lots of guest houses.

The PCSIR guest house near FC College is a reasonable place i can recommend that place they have a good 24/7 well mannered and caring elderly attendant

The Hotel Herfa Inn near china chowk. I found good place for families, as i visited Lahore in september16. room are excellent, staff are professional, food taste good. free wifi with complementry breakfast.....

I have tried once Hotel One in Mall Road Lahore, pethatic and worst condition hotel of 10,000 a night. Never Recommended

Agreed, same experience. Rooms are so small that only bed is fitted. No other space

Beside of all this, dirty carpet, dirty washroom and very bad smell
