Very detail trip. How can we book Pano Qail Mess?

kya baat hai janab. are you the one who went to gawader somwhere around 2010/11 or am i mistaken. Pakistan mein jab bhi koi mess mein rehne ka zikar krta hai tu dil se aik aah si nikalti hai k kash hamare bhi bhaag ayse hotey. are you at some rank or ranked (privilidged).

Lol ! Well I booked mess thru sources. Have relatives and friends who are in Army. Mai ek aam sa shehri.

aur janab hu sakey tu koi apna photo laga dien kion k bahut ersey se kch logon k blogs/threads perhne k baad abhi tak pata nahi chala k who is who. e.g. wanderlust, tintin1 ab aa k kuch guess hai k he is Mr. Arshad. Khalid Sb ki photo bhi pehli dafa abhi aik recent thread pr dekhi.

Very well trip i did this trip on my old jeep but she proved that she is not old yet

on my return from Karachi, i made a driving record of my own.Left Karachi at 8 am and reached home in Lahore at 11:30pm.one hour was fully wasted because of fog starting from Nankana sb. to Lahore. Otherwise would have reach till 10:30pm as max. Above given times are from home Karach to Home in Lahore.

we took nearly 3000 photos in Karachi. which includes the meeting with Hanif Bhatti & few other PW members,I tried to make a thread of some choosen pictures, but some low level IQ & 3rd class mentality type moderator named as typeA just ruined my thread. Otherwise it would have more than 3000 posts till now

Well I was with family and my daughter is 4 years old MashaAllah. So I could not risk any adventure. Had to carry her drawing board, coloring books etc so she remains busy. Waisay bhi I had planned to take it easy and explore anything that is possible. People are now completing khi-lhr in 14 hours due to motorway.

Excellent my friend. Did Karachi - Bahawlpur - Lahore - Islamabad - Lahore - Ranipur - Karachi In July 2019 and was a amazing trip despite temperatures touching 40-43C (had AC ON). Drove a Civic X, gave 16.5km/l average for whole trip/ ~600km range on a tank but we were using high octane whenever available. Parked it at a family member's house in Islamabad and rented a BRV for Babusar top. Had my Mother, Brother, Mrs and 1yr Baby on board. No hassles anyplace. Didn't need any sifarish for stays, just avoided risks and stayed within speed limits.

I would recommend everyone to do it once. Inshallah will go again next year too.

Advice:
1. Have at least two drivers. Me and my brother took turns every 150km.
2. Travel in day and stop 8pm. No need to worry on hotel reservations, google will show options and reviews wherever you want to stay. In fact was more convenient finding places on route to stay rather than asking stay arrangement favors from friends and family.
3. No matter what car you drive, must have good tires.
4. Fill up before entering a motorway, there werent active fuel pumps on some motorways when we went.

I was the only driver so it was pretty tiring.
I stop at 4-5 PM whenever I am travelling even if it is safe.
I usually dont book hotels in advance but this time I was with family on a long trip and didnt want to waste time going inside cities and Mess is always a safe option, plus it is cheap.
I had valuables with me so did not want to park car outside any hotel. I used careem in Karachi and parked my car in Mess.
Car should be in good working condition along with tyres.
For fuel if you fill up before entering motorway you only need to refuel at Multan.

Food looks promising so tried it on return journey and all of us fell sick.

Kot Diji Fort, meaning "Fort of the Daughter" and formally known as Fort Ahmadabad, dominates the town of Kot Diji in Khairpur District. It was built between 1785 to 1795.
