only motor way police flags you to stop over the motorways.

District Police ( as in location police station) only Randomly put up check points at inter-provincial borders and that too is not a regular phenomena.

I just got my "Learning Driving Licence" and they instruct me to apply for permanent licence after 42 days.

Just wish to know is it OK if I drive with my learning licence on motorways? I planned to hit the road at the end of Feb.

they stop you only when you have committed a violation,,,but if the stop you and ask for licence they will charge you for that

There are no checkposts on Motorway. Motorway police only stops you if you commit any violation.
After motorway I did not see any checkpost on National Highway.
There are random checkposts inside Sindh but they didn't stop me. Found one near Shahdadpur and One near Nawabshah.

They do not check for licence if you do not violate any traffic laws.

I cannot comment if you should hit the road or not. As per law driving licence is mandatory and God forbid in case of accident the nature FIR changes if you do not have a licence.

Syed Jalaluddin Surkh-Posh Bukhari (Urdu: سید جلال الدین شرخ پوش بخاری‎, c. 595-690 AH, 1199–1291 CE) was a Sufi saint and missionary and was one of our ancestors. He was a follower of Baha-ud-din Zakariya of the Suhrawardiyya order. Bukhari died on the 19th day of the 5th month (Jumada al-awwal) 690 AH (20 May 1291 CE) in Uch, Punjab aged 95.

The Town of Uchch: During the Islamic era in the subcontinent Uchch and Multan became the greatest centers of academic and cultural excellence. The twin cities attracted the persons having expertise in various prevalent arts and sciences from every corner of the world. Numerous personalities enjoying reasonable socio-religious and academic status stood attached to the city of Uch. Hazrat Safi-ud-Din Gazruni (980-1007 A.D) introduced the first academy of letters at Uch. Ali bin Hamid bin Abubakar Koofi, compiler of the most authentic historical document “ Chuch Nama” migrated from Iraq to Uch. Syed Jalaluddin Surkh-Posh Bukhari (c.1198 A.D) made Uch a center of religious education and preaching. Hazrat Jahanian Jahan Gasht (1308-1384) belonged to this land of piety and righteousness. The well known reference of history “Tabqate Nasiri’s" writer Minhaj Siraj spent most part of his life at Uch.

Jalalia Mosque or Masjid Jalal ud Din

The mosque consists of a hall, measuring 20 meters by 11 meters, with 18 wooden pillars supporting a flat roof. It was built of cut and dressed bricks and further decorated, internally and externally, with enamelled tiles in floral and geometric designs.It was built by the Abbasids.

Last stop before reaching Lahore.

Waseeb restaurant near ShahShams Tabrez Interchange. Refuelled from here and had lunch.
All fell sick. Kindly avoid. Luckily it was the last part of the journey and we were travelling home. The whole trip would have ruined had we tried something during our stop here when we started.

We made sandwiches when we left home and we had that for lunch. It is advisable to carry home cooked meal when you start your journey. This way you will atleast reach your destination without any misfortune.

Did you visit footprint of Hazrat Ali and the well where reportedly Baba Farid Ganj Shakar performed the Chilla at UCH? Have been to UCH twice. Once in 2015 and now in December 2019. Wonderful. You should have had fried fish at Panjnad. Awesome. Anyways, a very nice thread, really enjoyed the quality of narration and photography. Cheers

Nope. Did not see both of these places. I was tired and wanted to reach home so maybe next time I will stopover at Panjnad Headworks.
