Naran

And yes Naran has lost its charm now, its crowdy, no sewerage system, bazar is smelly due to overflowing gutters etc.
I visited naran last year in sep & this year in May, stayed only 1 night this time .
I will prefer Kalam in swat valley anytime than Naran.

Excellent and informative write up, hope it will guide and give courage to many who just don't plan this trip due to lengthy and time taking travel. You did a great job to complete it in 4 days which is hectic but ideal for those who don't have choice take a week off
I did this trip in first week of July and traveled almost 2400 KMs with fuel cost around 17000/- on City 1.3 Manual.

My fuel cost was bit higher around Rs 23000 for almost 2300 KM.

Sir, as i mentioned, Naran use to be my "Love" but after my last visit i lost my Love in it, i feel really sad & bad for this beautiful place as the beauty of this town has been ruined by all of us.

Kalam has its own charm, its a beauty too, every bit of Pakistan is itself amazing specially Northern areas.

Great trip. Wonderfully executed. I have also planned a trip in 1st week of September for 2 weeks. Idea is to visit from Karachi to Naran+ and back on my Honda Shuttle 2015. Fingers crossed

By comparing your pix with the landscape in Kashmir; I would suggest to you plan a trip along Neelam River/Valley (at least till Arang Kel). I'm sure that will be more exciting with less kilometers

Yes it was a very exciting journey for me & my family & bit hectic too.

I have been to Neelum Valley several times, last year i went till taobut, no doubts, it is always a wonderful experience to visit Neelum Valley.
