i have few questions, can i have the same tour on my Suzuki Alto - 2006, condition 9/10 ??
secondly is it safe all across the way with family day/night?

Its not an expert opinion but I think so that you can do this tour on Suzuki Alto as i have even seen Suzuki Mehran's at all spots during my travel, I will again suggest to consult any Travel Guru.

Secondly, You will not be allowed to travel between Naran & Chilas or may be till Raikot after 5:00 PM. Hunza is safe to travel at any time but due to current incidents in Daymir & Gilgit its better to travel in day light.

by the way i m from Karachi and planning a road trip to K-Pass by road, although i have visited Naran-Kaghan-Soghran via driver ..but noticed that it would be a lovely adventure by driving on your own.

Hotel Rs 10,000 (2,500 Batakundi, 5,000 Sost, 2,500 Chilas)
Food Rs 12,000 (includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Water, Chips, Juices etc)
Fuel 23,000 (Lahore-Khunjrab-Lahore, Includes Hi-Octane also)
Toll Rs 2,000 (M2, M1, E35, Naran Entry fee, Khunjrab National Park Fee etc)
Mics Rs 3,000 (Includes tickets & other unseen expenditures)

I never got the time to post my experience here, but I did the same trip in similar time last year in last week of august I think. Only difference is that we went to the lake saiful maluk as well, and on the 4th day instead of driving all the way back home to lahore, we decided to say at bhurban and got there at about 9nish.

and the attabad lake used to be blue

I missed Lake Saif ul Maluk due to shortage of time & i have regrets too for missing it, indeed it was in my plan to visit Lake Saif ul Maluk but i spent almost 2/3 hours in an adventure trip in Babusar Top as narrated above, which was a major reason to skip it, I have been their several times but i always want to go their as it is a LOVE to me.

About Attabad Lake, it is surprising element, dont know but what i saw & captured was Greenish waters.

I went on my City 1.3 MT 2015 on Thursday night. Route was as under

Lahore ... Faisalabad (to pick a friend) ... M2 ... E35 Motorway.. Abbottabad... Naran ... Babusar ... Bata Kundi ... Lulusar ... Chilas ... Gilgit (1st night stay)

Gilgit ... Ata Abad Lake... Passu ... Sost ... Khunjrab ... Back to Karimabad (2nd night Stay)

Karimabad ... visit Baltit Fort... Altit Fort ... Eagle’s Nest... Left for Naran (Reached at 9:30pm) 3rd Night Stay

Went to Saif ul Malook... hiked till base camp and back ... left for Murree (4th night stay)

Left early morning ... took care of some works in RWP and left for Lahore. Reached Lahore at 5 pm.

I was the only driver.

Total Fuel Rs 15150/- and an amazing average of 14.16 km/L (AC was ON all the time) and I drove very aggressively on hills (I usually do ) Total Distance was 2250 KM.

Would you suggest taking Murree/Muzaffarabad route instead of General GT road Abbotabad?
