Lahore to Abbotabad Thandiani etc

Dear All,

I am having a Chevrolet Joy with me and I want to make a trip from Lahore to Abotabad & Thandiani places, can any one please confirm if my car will climb up on that roads and please suggest me the good route along with the kilometers.

Before making the trip what are the things which I need to check in my car.

You can easily go to Thandiani on Chevrolet Joy... I have Chevrolet Exclusive 800cc, and I have visited Thandiani 2 times on same car.. Best route is motorway from Lahore to Hassan Abdal and then on GT Road from Hassan Abdal to Abbottabad than from Abbottabad to Thandiani....

Useful information:
Try to cover the area from Hassan Abdal to Abbottabad in very early morning in between (4-5am to 8-9am), on this route you will face so many traffic in day time Specially in Hari Pur...

About car, you need check your breaks, Clutch and Pressure plates....

Dear Imran,

Do you have any recent info regarding road condition of Thandiani? Is it a good idea to drive Cultus 2016 to Thandiani in Oct 2017?

I don't have an idea for these days, but mostly the road is cleared only you will face some traffic jam (optional), because as you know there are holidays and everyone is trying to see the beautiful places...

You can easily visit this place on Cultus.. just need to be very good driver...
* extra (if you can drive your car till thandiyani you can easily drive your car through Kunjrab Pass )

i went to thandyani in the end of march 2017 on move & it went easily so 1000cc cultus should be fine
just like @imrananwar171 mentioned, it depends on driver
there were only 2 passengers in car with some luggage

I have recently visited thandiani from Abbotabad during Eid holidays. Road is good. Weather was pleasant.
You need to top up your fuel tank from Abbotabad. As there is no petrol pump till thandiani after crossing nathiagali road.
Car has to be mechanically fit. Specially clutch and pressure plate.
Absolutely good breaks.
And very very important. ALWAYS go down in low gears. Never or very less use breaks in slope.
