Planning a roadtrip from Karachi to Lahore and back next week. Have done this many times but never near Eid holidays. Can someone guide me regarding the current road situation with respect to traffic and road blockages / protests. I heard they were already cleared up so want to be sure before traveling with family.
Secondly, I will be returning 2-3 days before Eid, what kind of traffic to expect specially since this is Eid-ul-Adha and there may be sacrificial animal traffic to negotiate. Please share experience so I can decide.
I also have an option to travel back on the 2nd day of Eid, would that be a better idea?
