22June2018 Friday i started this tour. it took around 06 month for planning. Actually mostly time consumed by my friends who change their mood on daily basis for this tour. And you know in the end it was me alone who done this tour as SOLO totally alone. Okay instead of wasting any time let me tell you what you really need for this tour on motorbike.
before i start to tell you about luggage let me tell you one more important thing, I done camping whole this tour, its mean not a single day i stayed in hotel.for this i have a camp and sleeping bag.
All this tour i cooked my food myself, i did't buy or eat any food from hotels except popular known places food.
I have Honda CG125 2008 Model in good condition. As i told you earlier i done this tour alone on my bike so here is what you really need as a bike maintenance in case of any damage.
Motor Bike Kit
1- Spare Rear Tube RS. 200
2- Puncture Kit with Air Pump RS. 300
3- Extra Clutch Lever Rs. 40
4- Clutch Wire Rs. 20
5- Helmet (Mine was Rs.600)
6- Gloves Rs. 250
7- Spark Plug Rs. 150
Clothing Luggage:
after this 10 day tour on bike i experienced the less luggage you will carry the more fun and comfort you will got. Remember whole the time of tour no one got time to wash the clothes and also no one like to change dress on daily basis, so filling your bag with too many clothes will only disturb you all the way on bike and one most important thing don't carry jeans for bike riding, believe me guys if you wear jeans and ride bike for around 5-6 hours , your hips will become stone:joy:, so my best advice is avoid jeans for this type of tour, only keep trousers and full arm t-shirts.Anyhow choice is yours. Here is my cloth luggage:
1- 02 Full arm warm t-shirts
2- 02 Warm Trousers with many pockets
3- 02 Socks one for riding time and one for sleeping time
4- 01 warm head cover
5- 01 good quality rain shirt and trouser (Note: don't buy full body rain coat its really useless while you sit on bike so make sure you have it in two pieces as shirt and trouser shape).
6- sun glasses
7- a good quality Powerbank (Note: buy a 10w solar panel with charger for mobile charging, its widely available in Lahore Hall road & Peshawar)
8- 01 Whistle (in case of Emergency)
9- good quality very light weight shoes
Medical Kit:
Desprine 10 tablets
Panadol CF 10 tablets
Piodine Small bottle
cotton
wool bandage roll 1-2 roll
vicks 01
a good quality sun blocker (Note: don't travel on bike without it believe me coz sun is not friendly and your skin maybe convert into two colors.
Cooking Kit
1- 1kg capacity small cylinder refill it anywhere in those areas
2- 20g Red Chilli Powder
3- 20g Turmeric Powder
3- 20g Corrainder Powder
4- 200ml Cooking OIl
5- one Knife
6- one tea spoon to cook food and to eat too.
7- one small plate
8- one small size pot to cook food
9- one bag to carry all these items in one bag
make sure pack in one small bag and hang it on one side of bike with luggage.
Camping Items:
1- one person camping tent Rs. 1200-1600
2- one Person Sleeping Bag Rs. 900-2000
3- one sleeping pad 2 feet wide 6 feet long Rs. 300-400
that's' it
Total cost 8000 Rupees. i know many ones will not believe but let me tell you if you have luggage then petrol and food cost is only u have to bear and it could easily be cover within 6-8 thousands.
i completed this tour in 10 days . it was amazingly awesome and really worthy tour. I did't drive my bike from Mansehra. From Lahore to Mansehra i loaded my bike on a bus.
early in morning around 8 am, when i reached Mansehra the climate was too cold even in lahore it was too much hot. anyway i refill my bike petrol tank and around 9:30 i started this journey . the way from mansehra to balakot was too bz. too many tourists were there.
after riding my bike around 4-5 hours i reached somewhere near Kaghan.
this 1st day i traveled around 60-65 KM only, so i decided to stay there, after choosing a attractive and awesome location near river i placed my camp there. the location of this place i saved as Coordinates, luckily mobile signals were working so good there.

i spent a beautiful evening there on my homemade ultralight chair, sorry i did't clicked any picture for that chair.
next day morning after having a light breakfast i packed my all luggage and moved farward towards Naran Valley.
when i reach Babusar Top, i realized the depth of Cold air. it was snow there and the view was Amazingly Attractive.
after spending some time there i move on towards chillas , chillas is not to stay place , locals of chillas are really not friendly so please avoid to stay there, plus chillas is way too hot area. thatswhy i decided to move on towards gilgit. i stay near gilgit , unfortunately due to low battery i don't have pics of gilgit and hunza.
in the end only one thing i wanna say guys, these all natural places are our Heritage, Please don't throw your garbage on these beautiful valleys and be nice with locals instead of joking them, afterall our behavior makes them more comfortable with us. whoever planning to go in these areas, don't wait for any one . Enjoy this Heave on Earth.
