AOA, I want to share my experience of tour to Balakot, Naran, Babusartop from Lahore with family. i was been there with friends and it was my first experience with family and self drive too.
Ride: Suzuki Swift 2012 DX
Members: Me and my wife and Two kids age 6 and 3 years.
Total fuel expense: Rs. 11,000/-
Total KMs covered: 1,391 KM
One night stay at Balakot Rs. 2,000/- paid. Ever Green Hotel Tarana Balakot
Two Nights Stay in Naran Bazar Queen Hotel: Rs. 3,000/- per night 24 hour hot water and neat and clean room.
Jeeb towards Saiful Malook Rs. 2,500/-
Rafting Expense Rs. 1,500/- for all four.
Day 01. 16 June 2019 Sunday
Left Lahore at 6: 00 am via M2 refueling at Chakri and reached Mansehra @ 1 pm took lunch from a Dhaba Hotel while going to Balakot.
Reached Tarana Balakot at 2:00 pm. Stayed there and visited Balakot and Kunhar River. Dinner at PTDC Balakot.
Day 02. 17 June 2019 Monday.
At 8: 00 am took Breakfast from PTDC Balakot and start travel to Naran. Stayed at many spots except Kiwai.
While going to faced many water falls to be careful to save the car.
at 2:00 pm reached at Naran and took lunch from Moon Restaurant. Food was good and not much costly as compare to Galiat.
at 3:00 pm left for Saif ul Malook. reached there. It was raining there and weather was soo much cool. and thanks to Allah rain stoped and we enjoyed there for 2 hours and came back to room at 7:00 pm. Jeep driver advised me to leave early if you wan to go to Babusar Top. So we slept after taking some snakes.
Day 03 18 June 2019
at 7:00 am left Naran for Babusar Top and reached at Moon Restaurant Baser 6 KM before Lalusar Lake. took our breakfast there. distance is not much we stayed at many points while going to there. Stayed for some time at Lalusar Lake the leave from there to Babusar Top. Road was opened two days early snow was there. Road was narrow due to snow on sides.
Reached Babusar Top at 12:00 Noon and spent there 2 hours. Kids enjoyed there alot in snow and Star journey back to Naran at 2:pm.
Now I realized that advice of the Jeep driver was much effective because while coming back we seen people were stucked in traffic due to snow on roads one one car can pass but due to some idiots who broke lines.
any how reached at rafting point at 6:00 pm and they refused to load my daughter because she was just 3 years old but she wants to go on boat after some discussion and permissions we went for soft rafting. They were chrging Rs. 500/- person and we paid them 1500/-
End of the day took dinner at Moon restaurant again. walked in Naran Bazar at night,
Day 04 19 June 2019
Left Naran at 9: 00 am for Lahore took breakfast on coming back and took lunch at McDonald between Mansehra and Abbotabad, reached Sial Moor interchange at 6:00 pm stayed at many places because of kids.
Reached at 11:00 pm in Home.
