Lahore to Thandiani 4 days tour

Your guidance required regarding the following:

Best Route to Thandiani from Lahore. Safe & (Fuel efficient) Distance from Lahore as i wanna travel with family in June. Distance from Abattabad.Fuel cost, coming and going to thandiani.
I am planning to visit there with family for 4 to 5 days. Our Fleet includes Corolla, Alto, Mehran and Civic.
Whether steep inclines could be covered on 800 CC or 1000 cc Suzuki vehicles?
What is road condition from Abattabad to Thandiani?
I am also courious about availability of safe and secure resthouse/ hotels at Thandiani.
Has any one of you visited thandiani recently? hows it?
Best places to go there?

i went last march,
i cannot estimate fuel cost for you as it will depend on your car
as far as i remember it took me something like 1.5 - 2 hours to reach thandyani from abbottabad(could be wrong)
i went on daihatsu move 660's with wife and some luggage and it was easily doable
at the start from main road where you would turn towards thandyani there is some rough road and then ahead some mining thing was being done, so road had pebbles etc but overall nothing too bad,
there were few hotels at top, i didnt plan a night stay so didnt ask for rates etc

i went there last year in july on a highroof (suzuki bolan)...i think it ll take 2 hours to reach there from abbottabad ...road is good...no problem for any fit car..Thandiani can be explored in a single Day...4 Days are more than enough... in my opinion u can explore nathiagali..ayubia, patiriata etc in four Days along with Thandiani.....Thandiani Jatay hue Rastay mein aik waterfall aati hai us per zarur rukiye ga...Thandiani mein ooper aik rest house hai kafi seerhiyan charh ker....wo bhe Zarur dekhiye ga...it is not operational for the visitors lakin aik ya 2 employees zarur wahan hon gay..as far as i remember there is no govt guest house...local logon nay wahan apnay gharon mein arrangement kia hua hai...Have a safe Journey!!

no problem for mehran even on cng. hotel rent starting from 500 per room. dont know about guest house rent. once spend a night there. pure natural place no pollution of any kind. cool and calm place
