Sharing my reviews

Suzuki Motor House , Mall road lahore.

I went two times just because its the oldest dealership and close to my office. Both times I was ripped off.
First , gear oil change, the mechanic put in wrong density of gear oil, he actualy used some injection type thing because the thick axle oil wont go into gearbox. I had to go back and get that muck removed and proper oil put in later.

Second, took for paint job of bumper of alto. which was not matched properly, paint was done under a tree and it got lots of particle embedded into it. service supervisor agreed and asked to come back for finishing work. the bumper was not even attached properly. I did not go back to that place.

Suzuki Sethi Motors, Queens road lahore.

Went to them for oil changes, Service supervisor is knowledgeable person as in he knew the proper oil grade for an older vehicle and did not try to push expensive synthetic into it.
They did not charge labour for checking of car including oil change. oil, oil filter and air filter genuine all came to be 2200 rs. good experience, entry road is narrow.

Open workshop, Montgomery Road

Montgomery road usually has thugs . avoid the guys that come up to you for 'hojaiga jo b kam ha' these guys are not mechanics just touts who will rip you off based on you knw abt cars or not.

these two workshops are hidden in a galli adjacent to filter house, once you get in its easy to get your car in a bay. mechanics are good know their job well. socendly green pak suzuki is also there who has nearly all parts for suzuki cars.

i got brake pads replaced &serviced in 1000 rs.
changed godday outer in 1200 including khradia cost and labor.

green pak suzuki has interior parts and maintenance parts of all suzuki vehicles in good price. brake pads in all qualities availble.

Can someone guide the best workshop/person for proper chassis (lower doors, rear wheel wells, B pillar) rust repair, having a sand blasting machine and using arc/tig/mig welding for repair ?

Punjab Car AC

I went to them for my underperforming AC in alto 1000cc , not a bad experience but first i had to prove to the guy that i knew about the stuff. i called inspection guy to check my car he was eyeing me like how much to con him. i figured that so told him i think gas is low bcz its showing bubbles in the inspection glass. he asked apko kese pta ha... then proceeded to give much less estimate. AC system regas with proper pressure and good gas (honeywell) and cleaning of outer inner cores. cost 2000. three years and ac is performing great.

also , some guys mentioned punjab car ac rates are even more than honda dealership. and they dont put compressor oil in.

so go there and appear to know about the system to get good rate.

Its for a Toyota AE85 Trueno, a vehicle notorious for rusting from the inside out. Will be treating rusts in parts i.e. lower panel first and rear wheel wells first, then lower door panels etc.
Don't mind spending slightly more if the place is professional and the work is of quality and also they dont mind me hanging around to observe while they work

He quoted me clutch replacement labor cost of 8.5k while maximum quotation I got was 3.5k. So decide for yourself. Car in question is santro 2008.

Toyota Dealership, Thokar Niaz beg

Multiple instances they tried to con (and failed)

1. last oil change pr oil filter kiok almost new tha, to sath wali gari ko lga dya. we asked them ye kia kya ha? he said k waste hojana tha. he was actually coning the other guy , usko bill krha tha oil filter ka aur hmara filter use krha tha.

2. battery terminal for toyota grande, brass k 2 terminal ki cost : 9800 pkr. kio? just bcz .

3. not happened to us but ek sahab ko gher lia , new corolla thi usk emblems dirty horhe thay . they said saaf krdete hain. they cleaned it with paint thinner! kch der ma paint b saaf hogya sb emblems k around. the guy was in shock. in short, they painted his car. new car thi sari shower hogai.

4. brand new corolla went for first oil change. they took off wheel for some reason. we asked them to put it back , and when he was putting it back we came to knw he was trying to put old nuts on there. we asked new nuts kider hain? he said ye b new jese hain. in short... tools chest ma chupae he genuine nuts niklwa kr lgwae.
