Hi,
I have recently bought a 1.5L CVT, AWD 2007 Lancer, which is an absolute pleasure to drive. It was self imported by the previous owner, comes with retractable mirrors, ABS, rear windshield viper, Dual Airbags etc.
The previous owner had removed the AWD Shaft, so I had put back again, with new fluids for the AWD system.
I have a constant vibration issue, at lower rpm when the car in is Drive mode, There is no vibration when I put the car in reverse gear.
For this, I had the transmission mount replaced and one engine mount replaced,
The vibration has reduced significantly, but still its like running a tractor.
At higher RPMs the car is stable, no vibration at all.
Mechanics at DW Garage said, that the issue could be the throttle body, which I am not so sure off, since they
ripped me off quite good. So I am never going there again, low quality work and excessive amount of money charged.
Which workshop is recommended? So I can get genuine parts installed, and the mechanics who can actually tell me what is wrong with this beautiful beast at low RPMs.
Lastly, there is oil leakage near the Top cover, I had the Jan replaced 3 times, it still happens, around the top of the cover.
Not a single oil leakage is found anywhere. I love the overall handling, driving, braking and comfort the car. True value for money these days.
I am using 10W40 Amsoil, I have no clue if the air filter and oil filter are genuine, because the box can be printed by anyone, had replaced water with Honda Coolant, brake oil was also replaced.
