Lancer 1.6 A/T engine and ideal sensor issue

Dear few days before my lancer 1.6 A/T heat-up due to unknown reason.( some one says that two valve was now working and some say due to weak head gaskit etc) any how i changed the gaskit now it is good. but i am facing some problems after that.
1. My car require more rpms upto 3000 for going in 100 speed.
2. Secondly the ideal sensor in throttle body is not adjusting, i changed so many throttle body but in some it is in race and in old one it is nearly dying rpm. In old which is currently in car is good after heat up to normal but in startup and in parking with in gear it is vibrating.Also vibrating or rpm goes down on AC.

Please require suggestion (either this can be fixable or should i go for replacing assembly).

why you want to change engine assembly? if you are facing low oil level and blue smoke then rings can be done in less amount.

Are you running your Lancer on CNG

Get it checked on a Scanner and also get a compression test. Head Gaskit when go bad the head is very prone to get damaged due to heat.

No CNG is not fitted in my car.

My car was heatup and head gaskit was replaced. but now issue of ideal sensor, changed so may but not working, either this is the problem of throttle body or the installed ideal sensor was also choked.

Lancer's don't develop this idle sensor issues. There are plenty in my family some of them are of the same generation as yours but never had this particular issue.

@dayrider is right you should get it checked if the sensor is choking from carbon deposits. Also check its MAS/MAP sensor.

I think for 1 you should check air flow, fuel flow and exhaust flow i.e. air filter + map sensor, fuel pump + filter and O2 sensor + catalytic convertor. Choked air filter or catalytic convertor can really suffocate an engine. If you plan to keep the car for long then advised to get K&N air filter along with catalytic convertor cleaning.

For 2 I think the both idles motors are busted but behaving differently. You should do a resistance test on both to check their health.

Basically get ur engine tuned by a specialist. Check also for PCV valve cleaning since they do build up carbon and block the passage of gases.

Keep in mind some of our r jahol mechanic would as u to remove the Catalytic convertor. Do not do it.

There also can be a small problem such as a vaccm leak, sounds small though but it is difficult to find and cause similar unstable idling and vibration issues.

@abq223 bhai most probably Idle Control sensor issues. else check for Mass Airflow and ignition system. usually it is the ignition system in these lancers. Ignition coil goes dies giving the car jerks and unstable idling. better get the car scanned for code first.

Bhai if you are anywhere near gulshan or Lucky One Mall got to Kamran aka Kami Cell # is 0322-2740110. He is just opposite Lucky One Mall, i personally get my cars tuned from him charges a bit high. but is able to source rare parts and atleast knows what he is doing..

Hello can anyone tell where MAF sensor is located in lancer 2006 1.3gl. I have seen videos on youtube but all of them show 1.6 variant or some other variant and they show maf sensor inside airfilter body but i can not locate it there in my lancer

Our lancers don't have maf sensor. They have map sensor located on top of the intake manifold.
