The guy to whom you have the car to is an idiot, no AC parts for Lancer are available at Shafiq Mor. There is only One shopkeeper Nawab Bhai very old man who deals in lancer mechanicals. Your guy should have either gone to shershah or magazine lane.

yeah now i m thinking that ony i hav to ask him to simply swap the engine and then take car from him and do other work from ur recomended ones

Bhai i sincerely love your efforts but dont mind, the car will eat up lots of money. as per my estimates it will eat approx more than 250,000/- for full body/ mechanical / electrical and parts and still after that you will not be satisfied. because as per pics, the body structure has gone due to various paint jobs and passage of time. the most important thing is the body fitting like moulding, grills, lights, gola etc plus the interior bits and pieces. as you said the engine is also gone......

so i am not here to break or hurt your feelings but bhai you are getting married soon and i guess u will have a limited budget also. decide wisely, if u can sell this car and buy a small car for the time being. Use it, gather some money and buy a better bigger car.

aur han, dont go for any bank loans........u will get engulfed by it and u will never get out of it.

what im seeing is that hes about to get married to this car.

its doable, but requires a lot of money and a great deal lot of work. Shops that do daily repair wont do a right job, You need to tear it down and piece meal it one by one to get the right build.

There is also a huge issue in these cars at the center pillar lower floor area, if at any time the car was ever curbed the floor sort of buckles and the doors on that side get seriously misaligned - no amount of adjustment can fix that, to get that correct again - requires a 25 ton chassis puller and alignment jig.

@xulfiqar sir you know those puller jigs aren't available in Pakistan. I was about to say the same it seems to be he is getting married to the car...

This car as it is not worth any investment. like 'BOSS' said here wallet holders would end up dry and vehicle will remain stuck with the workshop(s)

dispose off the vehicle save your money & time. Plan a project vehicle for which parts are available new or at yards in your approach., Plus you have acumen to handle it as DIY.

The pullers are available, if you go to area behind fb area telco exchange, you will find shops that have made custom desi version of them.

Real ones are installed at honda sh faisal, toyota central and yazdani motors etc.

They do custom work too, meaning you roll the car to them in torn down state, they pull it and you tow it away, used to cost about 10k for the work this way.

I had a digital dash gallant(1984 I think) with us from 1996 till 2004. Lovely machine, way ahead of its counterparts

Model year 1986 in Pakistan. Both Mitubishi Galant & Lancer Super Saloon had digital cluster. ( 1984-85 Galant with Dual sealed beam head lamps & washer, had digital cluster ) were LHD GCC variant arrived in PK from Kuwait after Gulf War
