hahah bhai shadi se phele meri wife yehi lancer thi.... jabhi ab isko divorce dene ka plan tha mgr honestly loan k elawa option nahi tha.... @Xulfiqar bhai ab to engine dal gya ..itna late btaya apne... ab srf anso baha sakta ho apne 1lac pe...

gari to agyi ha mere pas... engine wise phele se to yaqenan behter h.... but abhi suspension or interior wali halat khatm ha to aisa feel ho rha wahee khari ha gari...... headlights b nahi ha... ek mnth to widout headlights hi chalaoga Lancer.. lolx... anyways agr koi guide krday kitne ki bikay gi to kch mind bna skta hi bechne ka....

ek chex batain meter ki halat buri ha mere... lakin jb taiz speed marta ho to ajeeb awaz anay lagti ha aj koi 3,4 mnths k bad 90 ki speed mari ha karimaabad flyover pe.. to awaz anay lagi phr tariq road tk bnd nahi hwi awaz...yaha video upload nahi hoti else i will put it here

i have the Lancer you mentioned the Super Saloon Digital Cluster One.

dear @pwuser157350027395 the sail boat for selling your lancer is now on docked on the harbour of Hell, you will get at max 125-150 for the car now as is! so basically it is pointless. drive the car for at least 2 more years save up enough! and buy a newer model preferably a Suzuki! kyun ke 125-150 mein bechne ke baad milega kuch nahi itni range mein unless you want to drive an even worse Mehran Charade or A dead Khyber.

I know what is wrong with the meter my cars cluster did that do had to change the Speedo Cable from the Gear box to the Cluster and have the meter serviced.

The meter wala messed up the Circuit While Servicing and eventually had to change the Whole Cluster!

Pora Dashboard kyun Chaiye Bhai? Get it refurbished? or are you talking about the door cards?

@dayrider bhai it's a great idea... if its possible and feasible to u @omersiddiqui5482 i can come to ur place.. i live in buffer zone and my offic is at jail chorangi... and dash board galat likh dia mera matlab tha meter... and yes it would be gud if i can purchase frm u if it can be fitted to mine...

and yes bro u are right i can not buy any thing gud in 150 and obviously this was the actual initial problem due to whch i decided to put few in this lancer instead of driving mehran or anything worst... I knw the ins and outs of this as i hav it since last 3 years so to purchase another one and get new surprizes is not a gud idea...

and honestly and i am very thnkful to all people who are replying and sharing their thoughts ...this really helps me

Mine can be fitted but the reason for not giving it to you is that I have changed mine is that whole circuit behind the meter was a lost cause hence I had to buy a new one from shershah.

But you meter can be repaired at half the price for a new meter. The location is magazine lane. And they can repair it for you. I myself be going there for my lancer 88s cluster it is not working.

if u are committed to make this car perfect, then u have to take out time. shershah is a place u need to visit on every saturday, or get a contact there who will tell if any lancer goes there to be butchered.

go step by step:
1) Engine work - you have done already
2) Suspension - Second work to be done including brakes also
3) Electrical Work - Get all electrical work done including lights and all. start electrical work only if u r not planning to get it painted. otherwise do it after body work
4) Interior work sb se last mai.

yesterday i met with @omersiddiqui5482 ... thnkx alot bro for giving me ur precious time and knowledge ...

we visited plaza and magzine lane.. he has to get his meter fix and besides he pointed me the shops from where i can purchase the parts and can make my door cards fix...

its a nice xperience... thnx bro... also this platform helps me to get familiar with some cool and knowledgeable persons...

latest update about my car... it creates problem two consecutive days on thrusday some fuse beneath dashboard got burn and causes the car not to get start... somehow aftr providing direct current to distrubutor grip i was able to return back to home... meanwhile i disturbed the whole traffic after daakhana flyover lolx...

the second day it got heatup... fans were functioning.. later on i checked radiotor and found lower level of water almost it took more thn a litre of water

so currently lancer is under testing ....

It is undertesting for atleat 1000 kms. If it survives this it will survive another lac miles on the engine... But the engine seems to be good. Inshallah it will work. And it was a pleasure meeting you. I hope I was able transfer some jugaads I know best of luck with the car

Sir the car is not bad as it sounds hear!
Yes the head light need to be changed, and the suspension bushes need to new and the driver door needs adjustments but it is all doable and she will work easily for a couple of years.
And I am not accounting for the cosmetics.

Easily. The car doesn't have any major mechanical work after the suspension bus sorted.
You can ask him about what the Door Cards Guy Quoted him same as with other little.

If he can get the bumpers and the lips below the bumpers sorted out the only thing the car will need is a good compound polish.

yes the door cards work will be more or less 2000 ,they quoted 1200 for card work but i am including new rexine for hard areas what we call them?? .. also will ask him about sunshades which are not aviable in market for my model...

one question arises regarding suspension work.. inshallah i will go to the shop mentioned above.. but in general when evry thing perfectly did with suspension and car will be driven with care provided the current roads of karachi specially gulberg bufferzone where roads are worst... so how long suspension work lasts.... actually i m asking this because do plan it near wedding or its not bad to get it done in decmber and it will lasts for next year almost...

Your Car is Making nosies at the front which it wont after the suspension is restored.

Depends upon driving Style! i Since 2012 Have on my 88 Have changed the CV Joint Once (When i bought the car) and all the Bushes Twice (Once After the restoration it was needed but the Car was Standing for and Year and It had to be Done). I in this 8 Years of Ownership of a 32 Year Old Car have never Changed the Shock Absorbers, Dampers/Springs, etc etc!

That depends on what parts you use. If you use oem parts and don't abuse your car, the suspension should last 5 years easily. If you buy used parts, probably 6 months to a year
