Looks like a bad connection triggering cranking in weird way

the wiring or relay is bad in weird manner of its just ustaadified in real bad manner causing triggering of solenoid

recheck it and if it continues to do so.....get the wiring inspected and dont drive

@sameerulhaq064. Even though I myself am guilty of parking my LC for long periods but lately I make it a point to atleast take it out on weekends. As per information available on net and Xulfi, keeping your vehicle parked for long periods is the worst thing an owner can do.

Usually I take her out at least twice a week but I've been so busy for the past few weeks that I rarely have free time. I'm gonna get it detailed this week In Sha Allah and will use it as a daily driver for a week or two.

Guys!! Need some help. I was ordering 18" wheels for my 80 but I can't understand the offset. The original rims are 8 inch with 0 offset. The new ones will be 9 inch and offset is -13, -6, 10, 12, 20 and 25. Which one should I get?

The offset of a wheel is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the center line of the wheel. ... It is common to find a positive offset in newer and front wheel drive vehicles. Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline.

The rock sliders hit a boulder while I was driving with my cousins (near Shah Allah Dita caves) and they were pushed back from their original position so I got that fixed

It took me very long to find this thread!

We just bought a VX Limited 2006 diesel. Will be planning to keep this as a family SUV for at least 10 years.

I wanted to know what modifications can I do on this model to make it look better, and increase its usability? For now, these are some of the things I've planning to change/improve:

1) telsa style head unit. If anyone has used this unit, I need a detailed review on that whether is it worth upgrading to it or not

2) slightly lower profile tyres (the ones that are available with newer generation LCs)

3) replace all inside lights with brighter LEDs

4) change front glass. It is very blurry and it diffuses incoming light so the visibility decreases a lot! Will buffing help or I'll need to replace it?

5) Emergency tools for car

6) Replacing normal batteries with dry batteries

Looking forward to your suggestions! I have ZERO experience with a Land Cruiser before

Waalaikumassalam brother. Congratulations on your purchase.
1) I won't suggest you to get it. I used one on a 200 series LC and it was laggy (could be different qualities but it's not something I would get)
2) you'll be needing 20 inch wheels as that's what the new LC's have.
3) I did that some time back. Just use good quality LEDs and not the local 50 rupees one.
4) Change it. Buffing it will be a temporary solution and then the scratches would come back worst than last time.
5) I usually keep all types of spanners, adjustable wrench, screw drivers, a magnet LED light and a few other tools
6) I'm using Fujika dry battery and it's working fine for the past 2.5 years.

Land cruiser is a dead reliable vehicle. Take care of it and it'll take care of you.

Btw, what do you suggest the best way to incorporate AUX, USB, and Bluetooth connections for media then?

2) Do you have an estimate of how much would 5 rim and wheels cost?

3) How do I differentiate between "Good LEDs" and local ones? Any specific shop/website to buy from? And are warm white/yellow LEDs available in market, instead of white?

What other stuff would you suggest to improve this car?

3) I bought mine directly from Aliexpress, every color is available.

I would suggest to get the suspension checked. shock absorbers, tie rods, steering ends, sway bar links, steering damper and all rubber bushes should be checked and replaced if necessary.
Also, check the engine health by doing a compression test

Cygnus is basically a LX470 but with a Toyota badge. It has different headlight and taillights and a few more luxury options (facelift version had night vision camera too).
