2005 ownwards are vvti.
My advise to you is to get a clean lc diesel from Islamabad, and keep that. As u mentioned u live in Lahore, with ac, in city cygnus fuel average would be 3 km per litre where as lc will give you 8km with ac.
You will forget the merc, lc is a whole different animal. Very reliable.
