i am respraying my land rover i have finally decided what i want the problem is i cant track down the name or the exact code of the colour that i want to do,i am attaching a picture if anyone can help in anyway i will appreciate and plz dont say green

It is called Olive Drab. Australian Army Paint (vehicle has New south wales plates)

516-31256 Semi Gloss Olive Drab
516-31088 Lusterless Olive Drab - this is the exact colour

The exact paint is made by Wattyl, you'll have to get somethign similar mixed up here, but at least you have the codes now.

storm got that right.....but i have a doubt if the army ppl would let u permit that color bcoz it's the same that they have on their vehicles...i have a friend whos vehicle was impounded bcoz it had the same color as army...it was just a SJ410....do ask someone before getting it sprayed....

indeed it is risky to have that colour on your car,. however mot so much from the authorities as they are cool if you write "civilian" on the rear, but specially with all the nutacese out there you have to be careful about becoming a target.

thanx storm and shani bhai u guyz r too good.i think the orignal colour on my jeep is brunswick green thats an army colour so whay would they nab me on olive drab

guyz i also bought the hood soft top from uk i know that stupid cost me nearly 400 pounds its green in colour so i have to take that into consideration also.its like this one

@ storm and shani bhai one more query i am also changing the tyres its got leaf springs u guyz know what the limitations r wats the biggest size i could fit without them hanging out the arches and without fouling the leaf spring.i was thinking 235 80 r16 plus i want all terrian so which one should i go 4 thanx papies

mandi guyz have suggest me for independent suspension for 1 lac for now i ll stick to leafs maybe in future
