LANDCRUISER PRADO or HILUX SURF plz advise

salam dear pakwheelers!

i am in search of a good SUV most probably a toyota landcruiser prado or a hilux surf 1997-2000 model..plz suggest me for which one would be suitable considering:

1) fuel consumption
2)maintenance cost
3)comfort
4)purchase price
5)diesel or petrol variant
6)in case of PRADO, tx limited or tz variant
7)in case of SURF, SSR-X or SSR-G
8)is it wise to go for an amnesty scheme cleared vehicle

your kind opinion would be much appreciated

registered vehicles cleared under amnesty scheme are 100% legal and no harm to buy, it is dealer's mafia playing poker on it. Prado TZ is better compared to surf in ride and handling comfort.

What about the vehicle which are registered, number plates allotted but book still pending, how the new owner can buy at market rate where normal import prices are almost same. Still no Book n ownership transfer?
can any expert elobate?

In SINDH books are also issued by Excise dept after customs confirmation, in due course i.e 15 ~ 21 days time. without regn book no transfer can take place.
