Landcruiser v/s Prado

I have made up my mind to sold my accord and buy a big SUV like landcruiser or Prado will any one tell me which one is better. plz compare these two model in this sequance like this: and sugest me which one will be better:

Prado Petrol 2700cc V/S Prado Diesel 3000cc New model shape Starting from 2003

Prado Petrol 3400cc V/S Prado Diesel 4000cc

Prado Diesel 4000cc V/S Landcruiser 4200cc

LandCruiser Diesel 4200cc V/S Landcruiser Petrol 4700cc.

Prado Petrol 3400cc V/S Landcruiser Petrol 4700cc.

I have a budget of 35 Lacs and i can increse it to 40lacs max plz kindly suggest me which one i buy and also tell me overall which one is better,more comfortable,more stylish,much better suspension.

One thing more if i will got Diesel Landcruiser 99 or 2000 model in 34lacs rupees or i will got Prado Petrol 2700cc in 32lacs Kindly suggest me which one i will have to buy

Keeping in view that the petrol and diesel prices are almost the same, In my opinion dont buy a landcruiser its a white elephant very heavy on fuel and repairs are too expensive, go for a 2700 VVTI petrol Prado, I bought one for my dad a while ago and its an amazing vehichle. you can buy a 03/04 parado for 3.2 to 3.5 million.

D4D are having some complaints all over the world which you can confirm from diffrent fourms althoug no official confirmation from Toyota itself. 2004 and above patrol Models will do the job. VVTI Patrol wheels are more fun. Any thing above 3400 CC either Surf or LC will give you an option to install the Supercharger by doing so you will see diffrent the output, as TRD " Toyota Racing Developer" have alot of solution available so far. where so far i was not able to find solutionfor 2700CC wheels. Plus 2700 CC are under powered but with VVTI you might get bit more. Surf comparing to LC or LC Prados are difficult to self and re-sale is bit lower then other options.

Bro, There is no comparision between a Prado and a Land Cruiser. Prados are mid sized SUVs where as Land Cruisers are full size SUV. Land Cruiser 4.7 is better in all aspects than a Prado any version.

And please dont compare Hilux Surf with Land Cruisers, Surf is just a better pick-up with pants on.

All the Land cruisers I owned/ own are Diesels. But I highly recommend petrol.

Remember 2 things
1.Always go for Petrol one.
2.Always prefer LC over Prado

And buying a 4000cc Prado is waste of money cause u can buy a Cygnus in that money.

go for cygnus ... as it is gas guzzler but awsome vehicle .... if not and going for prado then plz plz and plz dont go for 2700ccvvti its very very very underpowered vehicle ......

2700 Prado=GAY

if you want best of both worlds & manage to afford it, go for 4.0L prado.

otherwise look into diesel options. Cygnus is a good alternate option too.
