This is not a result of landsliding. The flood has washed away the jeep track few months back. In june or July (not sure which month exactly) fairy medows was cut off from rest of the area due flood in the water stream comming from nanga parbat's glacier. Flood has destroyed around 30 to 40 meters of track, this point is right infront of bridge connecting to tattu village. I was there on 23-Aug-17.
Local people have built this is the new alternate path to reach fairy medows. this portion is less than 100 meters long and around 60 to 80 feets above water stream . This track appears to be carved through rock.
As jeeps cannot cross this point, one has to cross this part on foot and then complete remaining 20 minutes final jeep ride on the other side.
walking on this path was very adventurous and fun. I will share my travelogue soon. There is a lot more to tell, jesa ky nanga parbat ky zalzaly. (around 14 earthquakes at fairy medows on 24th august).
you can zoom above picture, though picture quality is not so good.
