Is it true that the manufacturers will pay the penalty if they deliver the cars late (Max 2 months)? And this is also valid if the payment is made through Bank's car financing?

Yes you can download auto policy from EDB website and read it yourself. It’s clearly mentioned 61 days after initial payment. And they will send a cheque via mail. Keep in touch with your dealership after delivery. For honda theydelay your discount cheque 4 months after delivery

Very very true....I have received late delivery charges of 34 thousand for my Civic Turbo back in 2017 and recently 2 lac 14 thousand for my Fortuner Sigma 4. Both vehicles delivered to me less than 6 months of booking but still I got these compensations.

Can you please explain the fact that is it only to those who pay full? And also is the amount calculated on the initial booking amount which is set by manufacturers such as 12 lakh in case of civic. So now the Compensation amount will be calculated from 12 lakhs or 58 lakh which is full price?
