Late registration penalty

i bought new city 3 weeks back .. still not applied for registration . i want to know how much time i have ? ii have heard its 60 0r 90 days ..is that period in which i should submitt the forms or the registration should be complete before with in this period ..want to know exact date .

my ride was cleared in 2011 november and i got it registered in feb 2013 so i had to pay 20 k late fees.

60 days from invoice without any penalty.
And after that with in 6 months 5000 Rs penalty.

Its for Lahore. For Islamabad other member can confirm it.

Hi, hope all doing fine, just wondering to ask have just got my delivery of car in May and did not register yet is there any penalty from Texation dept karachi if register after June 24.

Won't make any difference whether you do it now or post June they will recover token tax from day of invoice and in case if you register now token tax will be calculated on pro-rata basis that is only for month of May & June.
