That's quite slow to be honest. Shehzore would have been an instant hit but looking at their timeline, by the time they arrive..a Chinese variant would be here and would probably be cheaper too. Not the best timeline I had hoped for. I think they are late by 2-3 years for optimal competition and penetrating the Pakistani market.

So launching in 2020 and expecting 20 dealerships by 2023? Why Nishat? Would have been ideal if they had launched in 2018 and 2019.

I can only laugh on people when they share YouTube videos of variant of cars sold in North America or Europe . You will get a stripped down third world country variant of these cars .so better to keep your expectations a reality instead of fantasy .

One i want to know is that if they will offer latest safety features like adaptive cruise control binld spot detection lane keep assist if not then i will mass. Currently there is no Pakistani manufacturer that offer these features

Well... Abhi takk Jo hota aa raha Hai... It's not quite hopeful for the masses...
As one of the fellows rightly said, there are many chances that we will get stripped down versions of the cars here... Take Suzuki Ciaz, Swift as an example...
But woi baat, since abhi Hyundai / Kia wagaira ney cars launch hi nai kein siray sey, so humein unn k baray mein Guma'an acha hi rakhna chaheye...
Logo'on mein ahista ahista shaoor barh raha hai and I think, iss baat ka Hyundai / Kia ko lazimann idraak ho ga...
Min. Safety features might definitely be there... Humein shayed shashkay na milein... Even in top of the line variants, but yes, their vehicles will definitely be comparatively better than the big 03 here... Specially Suzuki and Honda...

Well... Hyundai should also think about launching latest Generation Santro here...
It will definitely sell like hot cakes!
I think, it is launching in our neighbor country this year (or next)...

Santro was a good vehicle for its time, good alternative to the stuff Suzuki was selling.
I doubt we'll see a small car from major entrant though as profit margins are low and competing with Suzuki ain't easy but the Chinese will surely go into that segment.

Elantra is very nice car... i drove it in saudia, it will compete honda city and toyota GLi but obviously not honda civic or altis 1.8... assembling completely in Pakistan means price is low which means this machine gona give tough time to honda and toyota...

look brother when you drive Pak assembled car and then Japanese or europian car there is huge difference, i guess it doesn't need to be mention, same here in this case, Elentra which i drove in saudia is awesome experience but i am not expecting same in pak assembled car...
but its my point ov view, may be i am wrong...
