^if u realy realy wana get this car, get it now, negotiate the premium, em nt sure if Suzuki people provide same quality for booking cars.

not sure about the warranty period, but i guess its 2 years for all cars except for mehran, (this was before swift launched, mayb its still valid)

Brother, currently I am driving a 04 Vitz. I am a great fan of the Swift aswell and trust me, no matter how bad I critisize it, I wud have bought it had it been in an auto version. But there isnt.

But I am considering importing one. A 2007 JDM Auto Swift will cost around 1.1 million Landed in Paksitan.

But its not Suzuki who commit blunders its Pak Suzuki who let them down.

^ yup dats a better option, after driving auto Vitz even em nt comfortable driving manual in traffics.

if u get karachi adds in lahore, there was a add of a jap swift.

nd with 1.3L avalible in Pakistan ul also be able to source parts, as in Pakistan we recived a facelift model so be sure u import a facelift too.

btw i also m driving a 2002 Vitz

I was planning to buy Corolla Xli for my wife but after the launch of Swift I will get the swift for her. Corolla is a big car and for females a small car is easy to maneuver during rush hours.

The quality of Swift is much better than other suzukis thats for sure.

Had gone to the dealership and have found out that they want a company letter for the booking.............what the hell is that. Anyone know how to go around this problem................Haan own day do tu this problem itself goes away.

Does anyone know the warranty period of the Swift...............is it 1 year or 2 years and how many Kms?

^^ when xli costs about 13 lakhs (not including tire changing cost) with very basic features only. Other than swift or vitz we have no choice

Just came from the Suzuki Showroom...........They are also asking us to sign an undertaking informing us that the government is planning to impelement FED Tax on the car of 2.5% and if the car isnt delivered we and the tax is implemented we will have to pay the 2.5% of the cost of the car..............

Any idea if this is true?.............Cuz if so........i can pay the own...which is around 30-35 after negotiation and get the car.

^well dats logical, price prevailing at the time of delivery is charged as mentioned in the terms nd condition i wud recomend u to offer them a minimum premium offer, and get a display car, those are better built cars.

These swifts are ( a car is only worth wat ones willing to pay for it) so if u reaaly like the car, nd also intend to drive it on petrol in future go ahead

No matter how good it looks or anything, remember ... its a Pak Suzuki car, its bound to screw up in an year or two!

the booking thing really sucks. Its an illegal practice, they wouldn't have been able to ask for premiums so openly if the government wasn't involved in all this crap.

when honda city is available on cash readily I dont understand these paksuzuki people, they have the highest production capacity(not fully utilised) and they still are trying to artificially manipulate market forces. Some so called capitalist democracy Pakistan is...consumers have no rights here...so sad.

Well anyways, I wont pay own for an already expensive car. Thats for sure. They have promised to deliver the car in a months time(Max). Lets see.

as ive seen the Liana wid old lites and grills at showrooms, even after almost 6mnths since the face lift is out

Bro I said that you can get a 2007 JDM 1.3 Swift imported for the 1.1 million. I said that is better option.
JDM swift has much more accessories and much better built quality.

I wouldn't recommend a xli..its costly for the little amount of features it has. If you are looking for a Sedan car you might want to give city a try. Its cheaper, gives better fuel economy, has higher output, power package and has ABS. If you are not resale conscious like the majority and more safety conscious u might want to consider Nissan 1.6(airbag+abs) or Optra. They have much better built quality.

bohat hi zabardast car hai swift, mai ne khud 2nd gear mai 90kmph tak khenchi hai trial mai, bus yeh kambakhat dealers is per 60k se 1 lac tak own money le rahe hain
