Launch of new model: Suzuki to launch 1300cc car in January 2010

even though i like its looks and i may buy one in the end of this year
but beign an owner of 4 suzuki vehicles at this time i am quiet certain in saying what ever they give in name of car is a useless piece of non professionalism.
this view of mine has really strengthened after i bought "alto" in 2008 end at this time even though just consider how much m i going t drive that car when i have an option to choose from 5 cars when i get out of home each day. total milage is only 20k and its sound is not working, horn stops working on road, doors are crappy they stop opening for no evident reason. lets see what you people say after a year about this new "Dulhan" lets see how long this honey moon continues

On top of that they are asking unfair amount of Owns from people just to take advantage of the fact that its the only loaded local hatchback. I mean what's the point of blocking booking for normal customers. I request all Pakwheelers not to buy this car by paying any sort of OWN. Remember, OWN is haraam and is same as a bribe. Anything above the stated invoice price is a gross breach of contract. If we the people wont pay this OWN it will end automatically.

i truly have to agree wid u, because its not jst own thre actualy helping the investors to show false demand,

secondly many people need cars on urgent basis people sch as who lost there cars, or there car got into a major accident, or some unknown circumstances they need the car on spot, these OWN asking people take use of sch people.

I agree with u all. But consider the dilemma I faced when I went to book the car. Paid the whole price, delivery will probably take 1 month(which is never spot on) Signing an undertaking informing us that the car price can change at any time and if any tax is imposed we will have to pay it.

Guys living in Pakistan 1 has to understand that all these things do happen. Paying 15000 more and getting the car tomorrow is what seems reasonable.

What do u guys think.....................

Have gone for Graphite grey...............Wanted to change the rims from the standard ones....any ideas?
Are the tyres ok or should i go for some other brand maybe a size bigger?

Dont change the factory rims they are good alloys. Swift comes with bridgestone 15 tires so no need to change tires as well.
Regarding ur purchase I would suggest u wait for a little while.
Since the car is already booked on the investors name (The idiots who invest earlier in collaboration with paksuzuki to later earn ON profits) you will have to get the car transferred on ur name as well...thus additional transfer fee....current black market practice being carried out by the company will end after a while. If urgent car is needed give vitz a try else wait till ON on swift ends.

Regrding the price increase of cars by 2.5% I don't think that govt would be foolish enough to do this auto sales in Pakistan are already very very low even in comparison to much smaller countries.

bought a new cultus few months ago, second cultus and the experience in terms of power has improved compared to the very first one. When i think of this new swift it just fills me up with a smile because iv been raping lots of cars in my new cultus lately, and the m13a with 90hp in that chassis makes it easily the fastest NA 1300cc in town i can just imagine the power on the new swift it would be a pleasure...should be able to own any 1300cc toyota such as the ist etc that you throw on it...and one things for sure its gonna eat a corolla 1.3 without question outright you got 10 hp difference and easily around more then 100kg of weight difference this will be a mad ***** to contend with!
