^^^^asides from the price issue, the thing is Pakistan is probably the only place to get one variant in swift. They should have made a cheaper variant as well but then again they have no plans to discontinue cultus for possibly the next decade, so one variant will work towards Pak Suzukis benefit :P.

Hi there

I first saw the car in China back in 2006. In the rest of the world where they drive Suzuki, its an old car already.

The new Swift is a 1300cc hatchback that shares not only the engine, suspension but also the price of a sibling (Liana). Price should have been around 700K, I mean it would be a perfect replacement to Cultus or may be A Swift 1000 and a Swift 1300 and no Cultus would be a better option for the company. Lets see what happens to the aspirations of the bigwigs in Pak Suzuki

mayb i didnt get u, mgr bhae jaan Swift is suppose to be a smaller hatchback while liana a sedan, for Gods sake, Swift is not Lianas replacement how can u say wat does swift has that Liana doesnt...

secondly this car has features worth Liana Lxi not rxi.

Got a chance to look at the new swift. I have to admit that in-person, it tends to b very attractive since the finishing is actually gud. But the moment i started the engine, the "Kir Kir" sound of idling made it obvious tht the pak suzuki has given another shot to rip us off. I drive jimny with the same M13a engine (DOHC MPFI), n starting it is a joy to my ears unlike the new swift.

I think u should think hard of what car u should buy. But if u want advice go for the SWIFT becouse i own a swift in the uk it is one of the best cars i have drove i have the 1.2 ddis deisel and i tell u it is much better than a bmw mini i am defenatly coming back to pakistan in march and i am going to sell my cultus to buy this baby

Yes I agree with you. The build quality of Swift is much better than previous suzukis...It is pretty obvious from the instant u open the door.

You cannot get any new XLI or City for this price....putting in 2 to 3 laks is not that easy. Its a small car, easy to drive. I live in Karachi and go to civil hospital every day, most of us know the way people drive there. This is a small car, driving and parking every day will be very convienent.

Yes you can go for a vitz but I would prefer a totally new car any day over an old car.

If I had the money(currently saving up) I would go for it.

@devil, being the car brand new, theres a chance of sum imported parts in the car. more less Suzuki arnt that bad as bad CNg has made them. (engines only)

altho the noises and built quality crap is there. as its brand new launch i think u shud give it a try.

@nick, ul be laughing again but this is true.

only open to book on name of a company or bank lease. jst to create a false demand, and promote investors, (thats there for about 4 years now). Even Indus motors is doing the same. my neighbour a investor for Corolla nd Coure said that they even offer u commission on booking a car with them

altho if u have some jugar or u have a company, u can book it.

@chinyoti, strangely i hav to choose between coure and swift. i know some of u might call me an idiot for choosing between these 2, but this is wht i hav to do. I need a small car for daily usage. It has to b reliable and easy to maneuver through the dense traffic of lahore. Also, i'll b keeping this for another 3-4 yrs so resale is kind of important.

its okay. but i wont say Efi + CNg. aur ab purani hogae hai yar. get a VItz instead. if dun wana go for swift. friday ko pehli baar i got a kharcha worth rs.2500 a new battery. ab tak aal is well 3.5yrs now. baqi routine maintainence.
