1300 cc without a trunk......i don't see its future much bright here in Pak. I belive people here are more space concious than power. It will just bring down the sales of cultus only, or will try competing with Vitz.

good car but 5 years late here. Secondly at just 20% higher cost you can get a honda city (modern techology by all aspects and introduced in pakistan at the same time as it was introduced in other countries).

is not hatch version of liana and not the same engine as liana..this has been told alot of times

went to see the car the other day and took a test drive

The car is unlike my previous encounters with Suzuki and i was pleasently surprised to see the quality of the car. The drive was smooth and good. Like others i think the leg space is small if one has to sit in the back.

I would had bought the car in a heart beat even without Airbags IF it was under 9 lakh car, with the current price tag i think it's more appropriate to invest 100k more and go for Liana which features same engine with bigger body

I also went to check out the car today and took a test drive.

I can honestly say its a lovely car although a bit overpriced and missing the essential autotragic transmission thats needed for daily Karachi driving. The car was smooth, the build quality was also very good (unlike any other paksuzuki car so far). Gear shift was smooth, clutch was soft, really nice steering and a good pick.

yes its made at their Karachi plant. APV and Jimny are the only imported vehicles from suzuki

all parts are imported ..almost 90%

^ If not imported atleast A quality. and atleast for now so anybody who wants to buy it my recomendations are to buy it now.

@people who say tires japani hone se car japani, SUzuki has been giving imported tires previously, i got Kumho wid my Khyber limted edition and General wid khyber GA, Liana sports & Honda City had low profile bridgestones

and Liana Eminent also has bridgestone tires.

Corola second last shape when launched a few cars had A539 yokohama, then for some time Dunlops then Genreals,

Honda Civic Vti has always had Dunlops, this time till 2008 april or june mayb they had Bridgestones, now all local cars are having Genreals.

only open to book on name of a company or bank lease. jst to create a false demand, and promote investors, (thats there for about 4 years now). Even Indus motors is doing the same. my neighbour a investor for Corolla nd Coure said that they even offer u commission on booking a car with them

altho if u have some jugar or u have a company, u can book it.

person we aranged the car fr gtg..he sold 2 units on first day...and says some booking of cars on last saturday

till quality is good it will have good sale figures

Thank you for arranging the Car and the test drive during the Islamabad meet last Sunday.

I am wondering what is the output of the engine in the Swift. I dont see any specifications on the website. Do you have an idea? I am asking because during the drive I felt a considerable under power specially in the second gear.

i wonder how long before some muppet fits a huge set of rims to the car and the ABS fails to engage?

people don't realize that ABS can malfunction with oversized tyres (i don't mean bigger rims, i mean oversized wheel & tyre combinations)

its 68KW, 90bhp according to the website, which is i think pretty good for a 1.3l engine, its also DOHC.

btw, apv's 1.5l engine is also has almost same output
