Its not difficult, and there are many youtube videos too describing how to make them. Just think it through. The finished outcome of your own handwork will be better than a decor shop anyway.
There were some really really good leather craftsmen in Karachi, from whom I learned quite some techniques (no youtube videos back then). they could stitch a gearshift lever knob cover and skirt perfectly in one shot
