From what I understand, both JZ and DURRANI had an agreement over an item and the price was finalized the deal was done. Durrani sent a guy over to receive the product and it was all good.
Whenever you are dealing, always remember, you cannot claim to be ripped off about the price if you had agreed upon it. Anyone would sell on the price they find suitable to them, if it suits you, fine otherwise walk off. If the item is available in 500 rupees in Peshwar, Lala musa or Lalu khet, that is the buyers fault that he did not inquire about the product earlier.
A plate could be worth 100 if a local craftsman is painting it for you or worth 5000 if it is imported, depends and differs upon product, copy and quality. So, for the price its your fault.
If your product was shipped to you and came out broken, the fault is with the seller as he is the one who packed it and claimed it is 100% fit. In your case, there was no shipment involved and the plate was handed over to a friend or a guy you had nominated who received it checked it. The responsibility of the seller finishes when the plate was received by the nominated person which in your case did happen.
Thirdly, your complaint came a little too late. Three weeks is a very long time to whine about anything. The call to JZ should have been made within 10 minute the package was received to you. If you cannot afford to call, a PM with a time-stamp would do or an sms. You took a little too long.
I do not know you or jz personally, just giving my own opinion.
- The price - Not relevant as you agreed upon it. If it was available in 500, should have bought that mate.
- Faulty - Not relevant, it wasnt shipped to you, you asked your guy to receive it.
- Complain here? - Three weeks is a little too long to complain about it baby!
