I recently installed chines headlight in my chines bike and very impressed with the result same like HID, but i found issue with the light was it cannot perform low beam function, it seems to be manufacturing fault because i found most of the other same headlights having same issue too, so i trace its power circuit and found two smd diodes faulty, so i remove and replace them with 2 (1N4001) diodes that are very common. Now they perform low beam function with lower 3 leds and high beam function with all 6 leds. The diode with brown wire is for angel eyes (so called) or for two small led ( i replace these blinking leds with white ones).

i am talking of something like sst90 ? or some real cree xml that runs at 10 Watts ?
i have xml u2 on ordder waiting for it to play with it before upgrading to some ting real like sst90 ..

Please share where you order Cree XML U2, i tried 10watt led array in stock reflector but i had to cut the reflector to fix it, i found that LEDs only works best with specifically designed reflectors.

Today I have installed HID lights from aunrangzeb market.

I have two questions.

1) are they legal? Or I can get a challan b/c of this.

2) after installing it my horn sound has become v weak. Please help.

1-Never heard of any law or fine imposed on HID light, or its not implementing.
2-If your horn wiring is all ok then you have to upgrade your battery or higher mAh, HID uses more current then LED. To check just turn off HID and check the horn sound if its ok then battery need upgrading.
I just suggest you to check chines LED light result before buying battery, because it cheaper then battery and result is better then HID (with 6 leds light as mentioned in post).

Received the led along with its driver. But I couldn't get it fixed in my headlight.. Very difficult to get good focus and spread.
