LED TV - TCL vs Haier vs Orient vs EcoStar?

Which one is better? Planning to get one within 50-70k.
From Sony, I got an option of 1080p 43 inch one. From Samsung/LG, it goes upto 4K in same size and no warranty.

Anyone using any of these Chinese brands for longer duration (43-55inches)? What do you recommend?

Its not about the quality, I've been seeing all of them in displays. Just want to know which one lasts longer and got better long term viewing experience. My current TV is an 8 years old 720p <30 inches from LG but it got great viewing angle and blacks.

People around me seems to be inclined towards TCL, but the models I saw got weird viewing angles and Youtube's plain gray looks deformed on their panels (although 43 inches got better viewing angles vs 50+).

I am more into TCL, EcoStar, Haier, Orient (Now Hisense) because they offer local warranties while big names got no real warranty ecosystem here. But at the same time I am afraid of various defects (lines, dots, panel gone, short-circuited etc) popping up after year or two with these brands.

I am also in market to get couple of new TVs.

I have decided not to buy Samsung ever again. One developed tennis ball size spot on screen during first month of purchase, other one blew up backlight from lower side of screen just few days ago and this one is 3 years old only.

Using tcl 49 inch since april 2018 excelent recption and functionality would rank it best currently

yes faced problem of spots on samsung LED.
Using Ecostar for 4 years, no problem and excellent LED. Value for money.

How does it compare to Sony and LG etc? what about clarity of high definition on EcoStar?

Well its not 4K but still colors and clarity is excellent. basically we dont have HD channels or cables so you wont feel any difference if you compare it with Sony or LG.
Sony and LG are better brands but double the price. As tech is evolving so fast so i decided not to invest so much in brand and use tv for few years and then get a new one.

I do get HD cable. Most of the channels are HD. Except few Pakistani ones waisay a lot of Pakistani channels are also HD now.

I only managed to check 43 inch 1080p of Sony and 4K IPS 43 inch of LG.

LG for some reason had poor brightness, it could be bad settings at display but I wasnt able to spot things during night scenes.

Sony 43 inch 1080p (at Sony World, Centaurus Islamabad) was best among bunch. Picture wasnt as sharp as 4k but it had no problem with colors and angles.

EcoStar had decent picture quality. I couldn't see them in depth because they were placed in relatively darker ambiance and almost every LED appears better in dark. Strangely, I was able to note that EcoStar's something-921 model had better viewing angles (50 inch) than its TCL competitors (P6/P65). TCL ones are absolute mess when viewing from sides (50inches+).

Also looking forward to see Hisense somewhere. They claim to offer OLED tvs around 80k.

I have found tons of sellers (even big ones) selling Samsung with no official warranty. They provide their own warranty & get their own parts to replace when one goes buggy.

Then again, there are sticker-pasters 'Malaysian-made' selling at ridiculously lower prices.

That's funny, my Samsung LED which was bought around 7-8 years ago still performs excellently. I'm just waiting for it to develop a problem so that I can upgrade it lol.

Model and size? Older and smallet ones tend to last long. My neighbors also got recently bought buggy Samsung tv.

Not sure about the model, but it's screen size is 45 inch.

TCL also suffers from uniformity and back-light issues, but their audience is unable to notice and report it at large. I fear for same with EcoStar and Orient.

Anything but TCL, it is very very poor specially the smart system sucks. Mirroring connects in 1 in 15 attempts. Really really disappointed

Trust me, I will be more than happy to pick TCL if poor mirroring be the only flaw flaw of their TVs
