I have 49" LG 4K TV, model 49UB830T, which I bought 5 years ago for 125,000 rs. This is the best TV in the whole world. I work from home and have connected laptop to this TV to use it as a monitor, I also use the TV for watching movies, playing video games, music player (connected hifi system to it). So this TV is on almost all day. According to the timer in settings, I have used it for 15,824 hours in 5 years, which means an average of about 9 hours per day use.
After using it 9 hours per day for 5 years, you would ask how is the condition? Everything is perfect, not a single dot on screen. I think I may get 5 more years out of this TV.
My next TV will definitely be LG.
Tips on extending your TV's life:
1. Reduce the backlight. High brightness and back light is bad for your TV (and your eyes) and it will die quickly.
2. Use external speakers. Using external speakers means that you're putting less load on the power supply and it will last longer.
