Drivejoy filters are the old “union ssangyo” filters that were sold in Pakistan a long time ago. They were ugly to look at and never were individually boxed. They had a poor shrink wrap and poorly aligned printing too.
There are tons of “made up names” in Pakistan for japanese parts, e.g. fuji valves and guides, there is no foundry or brand registration in any state there, the fuji parts in Pk are originally named rocky. (desi people wont buy rocky from Japan because it doesnt sound “japanee”)
Mitsuboshi belting are sold as something stupid in khi, jtekt bearings are sold as nippon or kobe or something.
Vic filters are not made in japan, some of their models have some paper from japan sometimes, they are made in various far east countries including indonesia.
The official denso shops in jp (usually franchised toyota service centers with a parts counter next to it) sell denso parts (very expensive too)
