friends i usually ride my gs upto 60 to 70km/h and some times once or twice a week 100 plus.i m getting avge of 50km/l ALHAMDULILLAH in city.never go beyond 80km/h in 4th gear whenever in mood of dragging.dont like to rape a bike

I think you misunderstood me...
For 40-50 speeds i use 4th gear as this speed is too early to shift to 5th, but once i reach 50 i shift to 5th.

just calculated the average of my bike tonight
Suzuki GS 150
total mileage of my bike is 438Km
and fuel consumption is 51km/L
Note: i only drive upto 60 km/h max

I got upto 43Km/lit during break-in.

HABIB 70 CC 2011 - 55 KM/L

HONDA 70 CC 2008 - 50 KM/L

HONDA 100 CC 2005 model - 45KM/L

My CD70 2012 used to give 55Km/lit
Then i bought Junoon and it gave me 45Km/lit
And now GS gives around 35Km/lit People say it is low, but my average always have been lower than most users here so it's alright with me. May be it's just the way i ride.

The first time I calculated the average it was 45km/L
But when I calculated again last night it was 51km/L which is pretty amazing to me
Will calculate again at next full up

I have been using Kawasaki GT 550 for the last few months it gave me around 15-19 km-pl,the mileage was obtained by driving 50% drag race mode and 50 % average daily commuter mode.
Have not calculated for GS 150 yet as it is not driven much and is in break-in-period

Not possible..i would say rather impossible at 70 Km/hr..Unique UD engine is cd-100s clone 97cc in displacement..Maximum retainable speed without redlining is any where b/e 85-90..A bike which is running at 70 Km/hr i.e 15km/hr less than the top speed,,one can never attain an avg like that...

60+ is only attainable on economy speed of 50 km/hr..I think cd-70 owners are really stupid then, a 100 cc bike gives better mileage than a cd-70 lol

Maybe you have you mixture settings on all out low consumption..But on stock mixture settings your claimed avg is not at all possible

yes its set on full economy settings.. i hv checked the mileage 3,4 times, got same figures ..though it does need choke while starting in the cold morning.. .. it's carb is same of cd100 and i hv got it tuned it from a honda antenna shop... the mechanic who tuned it said cd100 carb is more fuel efficient than 70cc...

previously on deluxe, i mostly rode on 50,60km/h because bike used to gets loud and vibrates... but ud100 is smooth and i usually ride it at 70km/h...
