The owner of the car was on the road the other day when hail storm started. According to him it was just for 15 seconds but damage was already done. some of the hail was about golf ball size and it felt like bullets hitting the car. both front and rear glass was replaced. Insurance is looking into replacing the hood and the trunk but for the roof they have to see how it can be repaired perfectly. There is a suction technology ( paintless dent removal) but that still leaves some spot visible and its not perfect. see yourself. The pictures are not showing the extent of damage clearly ( due to silver color) but its very bad in actual.
If we look closely their are numerous small spots on the hood ,trunk and roof ..

I heard that such damages caused by storms and similar things are not covered by insurance companies
well it depends what insurance and covergae u r having. that is called comprehensive insurance. covers even if someone do graffeti on your car. a tree fell on your car. a deer or tueky hitting your car. all is covered. again it all depends what type of insurance coverage and to what extent you are carrying.. Thats the reaspon dealers got short on cars after hurricane sandy as everyone with full insurance with flood damage got new cars..
