Looks nice. Prediction: this particular model will not sell more than 5,000 units/year in the US. VW will beat it on price and BMW will beat it on “to be seen in” appeal. Lower end of the convertible market is locked in by Chrysler Sebring and Ford Mustang. Middle segment is where this car will compete with extremely aggressive pricing from Audi, VW, BMW and even Mercedes now. The V8 model of this car is going to go against Corvette convertible and Dodge Viper. There is no way this car can outsell these two on performance and looks.
On a similar note, I had an opportunity to drive the 2008 Dodge Viper at PIR (Phoenix International Raceway). It is an experience like none other. I will encourage all US pakwheels members to go to their Dodge dealer and get a test drive of this machine. It is not a practical car for daily commute at all. But on a track, with very few limits imposed on you and the car, you will not want the ride to end. I took the car up to 190MPH, with the top down. At that speed, if you are not wearing a helmet, you will probably lose most of your hair.
