what do you mean bro by non branded phone? ive already uninstalled them using master uninstaller but they are in the recycyle bin and can be restored any time

same, titanium backups frozen apps are restored with factory reset, no issues, dont know about other apps

just wanna know can i remove korean carrier logo which is displayed at boot screen? i just want LG logo to display there

its possible but difficult, it can be changed from build.prop file country but i personally havent been able to work it.you just have to change the country from KR to U.S.

yes you can flash startup logo from custom recovery. it can also solve the problem

I was thinking of buying a qmobile (wo jis k ad main shaan aa raha ha ) but now i am thinking y not go for this one! and is there anything that i should keep in mind while getting it, like anything to check in particular before i make a deal ...

nope it has 1GB ram still a beast..using it for almost an year and have been using it pretty roughly

downloaded a very cute sparkling LG logo boot animation and flashed it via recovery . working fine and happy to get rid of that stupid korean carrier logo . thanks bro

After changing the region to US one good thing has happened. Prior to this phone dialer would always ask call to korea or call loca but now that stupid option has vanished away.

my advice would be to go for this set with your eyes close. don't pay this much for chines set if you can have the original 1,

you can get a good set with original charger and data cable in 17-18k max (17000, 18000) and if you have little less budget then go for older version of this which is (lg optimus lte) it is for 13-14k max,

things to check..,

it should have eng jelly been rom.
no koren app and no sms prob. (check by sending loooooooong sms to ur phone)
always check signals (should have proper signals , compare it with some other set with same connection)
check screen properly it should not have any major scratch
check screen for any dead pixel ( do this by going to wallpapers or gallary and view different pics and look for any pixels which are giving red/blue or green colour on white or black background.

on last open back cover and check if the set is open for any repairs or not. (don't buy if the set id repaired)
