LIANA - CNG Mileage

Dear All
I am a bit confused as my LIANA is doing 130 km with AC within city (Rwp-Isb) and I was like thinking it would touch 150 or more.. Everyone says it is excellent but is it..? I need to know from an expert... Looking for your support

I also own Liana RXI CNG, it covers 150km with about 30%-40% ac usage. me also look for more as i have heard it can touch 200 without ac and about 150km with 100% ac. Any expert??

i think the Liana owners will have to live with the avg they are getting as the equipment and setting for cng are at the optimum for there cars.

I dont know about anyone else but my Liana RXI CNG gave me an average of 190 with ac on in city.

my liana do just 150 without ac, how can u say that, have u made some sort of tuning or adjustment or wot. i did not make any change and its running as i got from the showroom.its amazing if it is so.

yar its impossible that liana gives 150 even without a/ccc yaar 800 cc cars 150km tak nahe jaate to liana kaisay ja sakte hai..i have a cuore with ff cng it gives max 130 km with full ac on......how could it be possible??????experts needed here urgently.....

yaar no effend, thats possible i got daewoo and u know guys daewoo is 1600cc and in city its do 125-135 with full ac and if im not using it go up to 150(sometimes). im talking about in city..

I think the milage u getting from ur cars are excellent my liana do 110 to 120 km with full ac in city it has 55wl cylinder non original cng. Your milage is exellent.

it is true that my liana give me 150-160km per cylinder without ac. i have rxi ff cng. and i have to cover about 100km daily in which 50km is of city drive. but i have heard that it gives more, how? did'nt know.

If ur lianas r fitted with sequential efi kit then u should go to ur 3sdealer n should ask them to reduce the injection pulse duration of ur cng nozzle.That should do the thing for u, but in this process u might loose some performance as u guys would b reducing the amount of fuel available for power production.
Or u can fine tune it with the use of 02 sensor which tells the strenght of mixture.
One should keep in mind that the best milage can only b attained at best state of tune. After that the milage depends upon the load being given on the engine through the gas pedal. As soon as v depress the pedal more the duration increses n so does the consumption of fuel(petrol/CNG).U can also try limiting the usage of the gas pedal upto 30% max n try driving in the propergear n in the proper RPM range,i.e, 2500 to 3500.

My Civic VTi Oriel (Automatic) 1999... gives me 150KM in the city with 20% AC ... with about 80% AC it does 130KM...

I have the following kit:

Landi Renzo TN1
PVR Advancer/Emulator...

I keep the RPMs below 3500 ... it does 80kph @ 2700RPMs... besides the speed limit it 65 in islamabad so have to slow down moslty. I guess it does 65@2000RPMs

Heard Performance/Power will increase by 20% with Lamda System...

Does the Liana come with the Lambda ?

For more power the engine needs more fuel to burn n to burn more fuel the engine needs more air. Fuel can be added easily while adding more air is the tricy part.

The purpose of the lamda sensor is to give feed back to the ecu about the strenght of the mixture. Supposedly if a car has 20% weaker misture then it would defenitly get 20% added power; other wise the lamda helps to constantly adjust the amount of gas being fed to the engine.

The need for it arised for the same reasons which r present while driving on petrol,e.g, the change in %age of oxygen content in the atomo. The change could be due to any reason,i.e, temprature, humidity, altitude height etc.
