Hi guys:

Is Liana Eminent 1.6 A/T assembled here or imported?

How is the quality of the car?

What kind of petrol average is any owner getting?

My other option was City Steermatic but heard that none are available in Islamabad/Pindi anymore

Plus points that lead me to Liana are that it has ABS and I won't need to get any thing installed like Keyless entry immobilizer, etc.

Any pointers are most welcome. And I have read all the posts on this site and did not get enough information.

I have bought an Eminent 1.6 A/T in August 06 and am more then happy with the performance...

Petrol Average is 8-10 in city area... A lot depends on driving style and raod conditions, but you just can't get more then 8-10 in City...

I also went to but a City Vario... Just couldn't through my money away on a badge that says "H"

thanks @alihaider, I saw on this forum that you were selling this car around March, was it due to the "S" logo? Meaning any suzuki issues you had? Do you still own the car?

I am not comparing with Vario but with Steermatic which gives around 12 km/l in city. But maybe in Islamabad Liana can also give better average.

The one you own, is it Japan assembled? Are the new ones also Japan or local Pakistani assembled?

by the way, i don't like city, but it does 15km in city with partial AC, i am evident of two people with different model, 05, 06

@aliqadri, well the advantage with Liana is that the only thing to be done with the car is to get new tyres. Built in keyless and Immobilizer means no after market things voiding the infamous Honda warranty

But on the other hand soon to be sky rocketing petrol prices would mean every KM counts. And I am not comfortable with CNG

eminant was imported but after price drop i'm not sure.

@tazixx, read the post carefully bro, I gave the reason also and i clearly said the "I May sell", I have a Civic 06 also...

I still own it indeed...
