Liana is better than City, XLi

Yes, Liana is a nice car. Better than XLi. Now I am disappointed that Toyota Indus are really looting the XLI owners. Look how:

Power Windows Hand-crank windows
4 Speakers 2 speakers
JVC Mp3 player Cassette player
Rear seatbelts Only front seatbelts
Centre armrest No centre armrest
Every colour Only white and black
Side skirts No side skirts

So why 8,79,000 Rs? I ask Toyota Indus

As for city, my friend has it. He said that City is a good car but still it doesn't offer as much luxuries like Liana for e.g JVC

I agree with u that liana is better than xli but city is better as it is much better in quality and ride comfort+fuel economy.buy liana if u want to convert it to cng.city is underpowered by the way

Liana has the better ff cng, with two cylinders. Cng in city fitted by mechanics can't be better then that.

well i do agree with NYsBadBoy i didnt like the shape much but i like the interior and also the like the setting of the CNG cylinders... well if they change the shape i guess that would be better

i m a LIANA rxi (CNG) owner and to tell you the truth this is a car worth its price in its category with all the luxurious features and its cng economy (170/350 Rs in city with ac) is definitely a must buy for anyone who is willing to spend between 8 and 9 lac.

Even Nissan sunny is an underpowered car with only basic facilities. And talking of Nissan Sunny, the recent price cut from 11.5 to 9 lac (2.5lac) has left the earlier buyers in a fix they lost 2.5 lac worth of their car for what reason, and if this car can now be sold at 9lac, then how was 11.5 lac justified before, this is a true example of how these automakers deceive our Paki buyers, similar cuts were made by Mitsubishi and Honda City.

Dear readers I wish that the consumer network in Pakistan some day has the courage to ask these questions and get a rebate to the poor consumers and ensure that price tags are justified and not hyperinflated,

yes i agree liana is better than xli but there is a tough competition between city n liana. I wanna say that if u wanna drive ur car on petrol than city is better. If u wanna drive on CNG than liana is the best choice. In liana i like the interior very much n in city i like its shape....

When I sat in Liana, I felt like I'm sitting on commode. Baleno was far better. Liana do have got features for low price, but No comfort, Ugly, No driving pleasure.

I guess the debate is useless, cuz 1 who likes liana will go for liana no matter if you give him GOLD with city or XLi & same applies for City & XLi lovers, like I would prefer City in this price range no matter what cuz I am a Honda lover

Among these 3,

if anyone wants his/her car on PETROL then CITY is the best option. Also HONDA claims the it is the first EURO award design car is PAKISTAN and HONDA has its own munufacturing ENGINE i.e i-DSI in it. Also it is the value of money with great fuel economy on PETROL.

And if anone wants to run his/her car on CNG then for sure LIANA is the best option. It doesn't matter if there is no driving pleasure in it or the shape is not good at all but it can save ur $$$ by performing really well on CNG.

Toyota should reduce their prices of XLi to compete their good car with these or they should renew their XLi by giving some extra features. I think TOYOTA should install 1.3L VVTi in their XLi too.

Liana is every penny worth the price paid for it. For the first time, it is sumthing from Suzuki that offers great value for money.

Guyz here comes a new thread....If there held a race between LIANA (LXI,RXI) and City(1.3 version)...Which would run away....I have heard that the new city which is introduced in 2006 is coming with 1.2 cc engine instead of 1.3 cc engine.....Is it true...?

It depends upon your preferences if you want economy than Liana is good but other than that there is no reason to buy liana. shape is not good.no resale value.engine is no match to Xli or city.Drive comfort is far less than Xli and City.It looks smaller than new city and Xli.

Pick up wise Xli is better than city.specially in first and 2nd gear. If you dont believe see yourself.just drive an Xli and than a city you will find out the diference in pick up.So in a race xli will defeat a city.
