Liana LXI Noise and other issues

I have bought Liana LXI PETROL 15 days back. I am facing few problems and need your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

1) Petrol average is too low. So far Rs. 2500 Spent on Petrol and its running is on 300 KM and now the Petrol Light is ON again.

2) Noise coming from Brake and Clutch when I use them.

3) A sound like "krrrrrrkrrrrrkrrrrr" comes atleast once in a day. I am unable to understand where it comes from. I observed it comes when I drive in afternoon when day is too hot but not in the night.

4) The CD Player starts automatically when I switch ON the car. Is it normal behaviour?

5) The indicater of HOT / Cold meter comes on middle (centre position) too early means within 2/3 minutes and remains on the middle position thruout the drive. Is it normal?

help please.

yaar my liana gives me 180 in 1000 rs petrol . koi suzuki dealer kai pass jao i think he will fix ur problem

My car's first checkup is due on 24th, should I go before this date?

Bhai Wassalaam,

1) Your Car's Petrol Average is not normal dear, I have a 1.6 eminent and even I get at least 350 km per tank of Rs. 2000. Get it checked by the authorised dealer.

2) & 3) for Breaks and Clutch, well, get it checked also, its not normal... as for the other sound, could you explain a little bit more about that...

4) CD player starts from where you left it when you switched off the car. If you'll leave it on when you switch off the engine, it will surely be ON at the time of starting the engine again.

5) Centre possition of Temp guage is very normal in all new cars dear.. nothing to worry about..

use WD40 to the brake and clutch pedals the problem is fixed that way just spray it on the upper ends of both pedals i had the same noise but after applying WD40 it is gone. on a full tank my car does 500+ kms. tho now using CNG it gives 140+ kms with AC.

i am not an expert...but i can say that feul average will get better with the time on normal tune up and check ups.

I went to the dealer and he used WD40 and all noise have gone. Also Petrol average is improving to 8 km. The dealer told me it will be set and if not, on the first check up he will re-program the car.

Sorry, what is WD40 and how to use it? Is it some kinda spray?

@fastfriend ur car shud do much better than 8km per litre as it is a 1.3 litre car get it checked ASAP.

Khair hai 15 din mai sare problem akathe hi aa gaye hain

for fule saving try to have controll over rmp.

cd player off karo ge tu off rahe ga bext starting tak.

break and clutch padel pe thoda oil dalwao.

2 3 mins kafi hote hain gari ko running position mai lane ki...

these are just check point show to expert if they dont work.

Hey! I understand your problem. Its bad fuel. That krr krr noise is your engine knocking... Engines are more likely to knock when hot thats why it knocks usually during the day. Just open the fuel lid and smell the liquid inside. i can bet it wont smell like petrol should.. Change your pump. I have had to resort to Hi-octane in my VTi after not finding clean petrol ANYWHERE in lahore.

And btw the temp. gauge coming up quickly and staying there is a GOOD sign.
