Liana on highway

Guys! I have Liana for almost a year. The car is fully maintained from suzuki dealer and Allhumdulliah i dont have any problem. I want to travel from khi to gwadar. Everyone is saying that this car is not relaible and don't take risk. Any one guide me on this....

The car has been with you for over a year, you are the best judge. If you have maintained it then there should be no issues. What is your longest journey on this car?

One should know about him/her ride himself hazar moou hazar baatein m13a have proven it relibilty in jimny mai ne mehran(s) ko highway per chalte dekha hai liana tou maze se jai gai

I have used it within city only. Never driven on highway. Longest journey was of 100kms at max. Or continous driving for 2 hrs or so

Yeah right...! Loog mehran ko phir bhi prefer kertay hain on Liana. They ll buy mehran in 700k but not Liana.

Before taking a long trip to Gwadar, why not take a trip to some other location first? Like go to Hyderabad or even Lahore? That way you will gain some confidence in your car and if anything goes wrong you will know its limitation. And I think mechanics and spare parts are generally available along the route to Hyderabad or onwards till Lahore.

As an assurance before leaving on such a trip change all belts and fluids, get all moving parts checked and then leave!

Bro I bought Liana 2009 rxi this year travelled on her to murree,till keil total journey was from Karachi malir cantt to keil is 1700km approximate and 1700km back to karachi and from keil to Rawalpindi and then back to Karachi so you can see the power of a liana.In snowfall of Feb this year I was stuck at murree for 10 hours in my Liana was continuously running.

Thanks guys! I already got confidence on my ride after reading some positive comments from experienced drivers :). I surely take some trip to hyd so that i will see how will it perform and InshaAllah soon ll plan for long journey... (Y)

Thanks guys for sharing your experiences. Today i did round trip from khi to kund malir. Drive was awesome and car MaashaAllah has powerful engine as it was running continous for almost 7 hrs with AC. My is only on petrol. I experienced bubbling on 110 and pluse speed. Any idea y it happens as all four tyres are in good condition. Is it alignment issue? Need to fix this so that i ll also drive on 120-130.

Your cars alignment might me out Liana is very stable car on high speed

You just need front wheel balancing. After a certain speed the bubling will stop like going to 120koh or 130kph. On the other hand below 110kmh u wont notice this problem.

I had japanese liana 1.6vti manual went to gwader my top speed was 175km on AC. Japanese liana's had this feature to lock the speed at 175kmh. M16 is one of the best suzuki engines I have seen easy to maintain and lots of torque and power.

Agree. i have also Eminent 1.6 but i like this. It is more comfortable then GLI as well.

some 15+ years ago my uncle was coming from khi to multan. He saw a old datsun for sale on roadside for around 70k. He bought and straight away left for multan on the way car had many issues but he says tht pathetic car still reached multan. Yours is Liana a modern car unless its in bad condition this journey is nothing for it.

Japanese Liana had m15a not m16a

Please check your source again, Japanese Liana's which were imported by Paksuzuki had M16a engine and also had on steering entertainment control buttons, though it lacked ABS and Airbags.
