this is the most vulnerable part in interior,yes The Mode Selector :D,most probably switch is problematic and very rarely whole panel's chip problem .

So what to do now ??

Selector is working fine as i switch it, its changes the air follow from Outside automatically. then move it back its set to default like in air follow. Damn these type of things are hard to explain

I have changed my RXI Liana with LXI with aftermarket CNG and its really trouble free. a little less mileage like 10-15 kms but its less complicated with no tik tik sound and any mechanic can adjust it. I am relieved by the help of Allah. I think its CNG that has ruined the fame of this car.

@skill need your help, yesterday my other car was not started due to battery died so i have to remove it from my LIANA and my car was started at that time then after a few minuted car shut down all of a sudden after that i put the battery again and start it now i the RPM is not stable at all on CNG its going down till .5 and some time goes up car is also giving jerks on CNG and Running fine on Petrol but again some time RPM goes above 1k what to do now ??? Its is ICU reset ?

remove the cables again........ start it and dont touch anything..... it ll get adjusted by itself harldy in 5 to 10 min........ and change ur battery(removed edit) ...... it happens with me but then gets ok as ECU readjusts......... anyways expertsssssss???????????????????

This is probably due to an ECU reset. Just drive the car for few minutes and it will be fine In Sha Allah...

Hey Guys!!

I have a 2007 RXI and now that I've driven it 92000 Km's, i'm starting to hear some squeaks and rattles from the suspension. I'm using tyres 205/55/R15. A friend who has the same car with stock tyres and RIms and 104000 Km's on the clock is still very smooth. I'm a good driver and treat my car with great care. So maybe its the tyre size which is to blame.

So what do you guys suggest, can I get my shocks and suspension repaired or should I get replacements?? Could someone recommend a good place for getting it all done.

obviously tire size effects the suspension,replacement is always better than repair but if need just bushes to be replaced then its good to use fuji japan bushes,never repair shocks.

RXI have R14 tyres from factory, so if you increased that with a lower profile of 55 and a wider tread of 205, definitely this will give you such problems no matter how smoother you drive. The momentum balance just gets disturbed and your suspension has to do more hard work to balance and brake/accelerate the car. So eventually resulting over an early wear out.
But if thats still only a few rattles and squeaks, you should better check with the specific problems. May be replacing the bushes and re-greasing the parts might do the job for some more good kilometers.

If the suspension is giving issues in its basic assemblies, it is advisable to change it completely with a new one rather to go on for a repair work. Replacing the whole with a new one might not cost above 15K from local market without the shocks.

In 15k quality will be too poor,i am pretty sure.only the chimtay just cost around 12000 taiwan made.

price about 2k for four bushes.500/= rps for balance rod bushes ,if possible change smaller ends with them too.

205/55/15 is not too big for Liana. The suggested size on the driver's side door rim is 195/55/15 so this should not be an issue.

The squeaks are a known issue and happens due to dry weather, cold temperatures and dust. check the bushes as well.

Yea ur rite I saw 195/55/R15 inside the driver side door and my tyre size is almost the same. Anyways, I have also noticed that noise increases in winter. I'll go and have the bushes checked. Does anyone know where I can get these parts cuz suzuki workshops charge excessively. If u guys can recommend some specific brands, it wud be much appreciated.

You are right, I put on the cost effective estimate. Going on for complete with quality brands will cost around 35-40K.
A client at my mechanics workshop just replaced whole suspension with a new one over his 2006 RXI with a Chinese brand, it costed him under 15K and the car was "really" fine in driving, so I was speaking over this regard.
When my mechanic told me the prices I was kind of astonished also and was telling keh it would not give a good drive in this much amount. But the job went pretty fine and the car is still running pretty fine and noiseless. So if you are short on cash then still LIANA is not a very expensive car to maintain

I once used Chinese excels CV joints for my previous Cultus, my mechanic suggested me to use them instead of the higher priced ones. I bought the set for Rs 1800, the original ones were costing Rs 5200 at that time. Believe me it worked really fine and is still working as like perfect after more than 1 year (as I sold mine to my office friend sitting back to me).

Yes you are right its not that too big. Also LIANA Eminent comes with R15 as a factory default size.
But still all 4's does effect slowly and gradually.
