Regarding the outer cv joints. I did went around both Islamabad and Pindi. Only 1 Japanese brand - HKD - is available in both the cities that too in a just a few shops (Price range in Islamabad for this brand was Rs. 7,400 - 8,200 and in Rawalpindi the same was from Rs. 6,300 to 6,800). But God knows are these really Japanese or Made AS Japan, Lalamusa 
NKN as suggested by you and a few other friends from Pakwheels was no where to be found in both the cities. Only one shop in Pindi told me that he can get it for me, and the price he said is Rs, 8400 for the pair.
All sort of other Chinese brand were like from 1,600 to 2,600 (A few suggested Sherry - allegedly a Korean brand - but I was not able to digest the name Sherry that well, so left that 
)
Now I will be spending Saturday or Sunday (depending on the weather....it gonna rain here) at some local workshop and get these replaced and will update you all after that.
