Just did a lonnggg trip on my Liana during Eid Holidays with my family.

I left Islamabad early in the morning on last Saturday to Faisalabad... Had 2hrs stay at Faisalabad & then went to Layyah on same day..... From Layyah after Eid, I went to D.G Khan & then Rajanpur & came back to Layyah the same day.... Yesterday I came back to Faisalabad & today I came to Islamabad from Faisalabad... Few notable things during this trip are worth mentioning here:

1- On CNG, my Liana gave 220Kg per refil on long which is very much extra ordinary, when considering the road conditions & the traffic of sugarcane trolleys...
2- I drove about 200 Km long on Patrol in about 1000rs patrol which = 17.1 Km/ltr.. Again not bad at all
3- In city, the Patrol average was very poor... I guess 8-10Km/ltr.. Don't know why???
4- Today, while coming back to Islamabad, I refilled CNG from Bherra interchange on M-2 & the car reached till Karachi Company Morr Islamabad on the same CNG, i.e 180Km in one refill.... Do consider the salt ranges & 5 persons in the car & the speed of car was at 140 many times intentionally & unintentionally. It was Chan CNG outside Bhera interchange.
5- On M-2, I touched 150Km/hr on CNG with 5 persons in the car (not on slope & it is a 5 years old 94K driven car), so now I have now doubt that Liana can easily cross the meter on Patrol.
6- Liana's suspension is stiffer than my expectations.

Unfortunately I did not take pictures of any place during this memorable trip & sorry for that ... But I will surely take some pics in future for proof as many people won't believe the mere words. But guys one thing that I am deeply convinced after this trip is :

"LIANA is an awesome car with superb engine & suspension".... Haters gonna hate forever & I will never give any worth to the negative comments from now on

Just take care for timely oil and filter changes and routine check up of various vitals and keep on enjoying pleasuabel drive for tonnes of miles.

that ghhrr sound which was to be ABS that means the ABS is working but then why tires are slipping they didn't getting any type of grip from the road and paddle almost going to touch the floor

Which tyres are you using?? for paddle you must have to check the pipelines/ piston on the brake discs

i have to do some suspenssion works like bushes bearings,previously i have experienced saeed autos gawalmandi,they are professionals but expensive too,do you recommened any trustworthy people for suspenssion works?

Any reliable suspenssion workshop,previously i have experienced walton and defence main workshops but they are CHOR aswell.

3s here are good at engine works but looters for suspenssion works.

Well I have no idea of suspension repairs as I have not came across for any such job for Liana and I am unaware of your city service shops.

The idea which just popped in my mind for any such works is to study the workshop manual and buy the genuine replacement parts and consumeables accordingly. Then ask a relible mechanic for the execution plan of a particular job as per the service manual. Sharing the illustrations with the mechanic and supervise him over the various phases will give a better output. Though time and cost will be little higher but not more than the 3S shop.

I don't rely on mechanics rather I get the work done in front of my eye from mechanical work to kheradiya & each & everything. Rather I dictate them to do only what I ask them to do.... However, if you want a trouble free work without much wastage of time in workshop, then I would suggest below mentioned workshop. It is far from my home so can't always take my car to them but these people are good:

Actually the road condition from Jhang to Layyah (almost 180Km in one side) is extremely bad. I would have never taken my car on this trip had I knew the road conditions in advance. Moreover, I had to drive it off-road in the village for 4-5 days. So when I saw the road condition, I was mentally prepared that the Steering ends, Axles, Chimtas, Shocks, etc I mean whole suspension would be gone at the end of the trip.... Even the road is 8-10 inches higher than the ground & many times I had to drive while putting the left tyres off the road because of heavy traffic coming from front. But to my surprise, the suspension is perfectly fine. I got the suspension thoroughly checked after coming back & found everything quite OK. But it was very painful to drive my beloved car on that road.

One more thing that it was no more a luxury car, i.e ride was bumpy on bad road due to it's height. I did not notice this thing on Islamabad roads.

Thanx for you reply. I have checked using the same method my readings were 1.5KOhms and 2.5KOhms respectively, I want to know if these are good or bad. The resistance depends upon the length used, which in our case is 3inches and 12 inches almost for the cable only. Can anyone share his cables readings and upload accordingly...

Experts need your advice....for the past a few days I have been observing that when the car is reversed there is a 'cheeck cheeck' sound and that too with some intervals (ummm comes like in rotation). Initially I thought this is something to do with hand break so I shifted in first gear and the there is no sound...again put in reserve you will hear the sound...but drive the car a little more (forward) it is gone... and if I am not wrong this sounds come only when the car is parked for a few hours.
Work done recently (50,000km):
Both the outer boots are changed.
New gear oil (ZIC)

Nothing to worry about if it comes in idle or just after the idle and go away.This is same paksuzuki technology found in balenos too.You should always topup the gear oil level.
